As a blazing beacon of first-rate contributions to global Dance music, Tiësto’s watchful gaze over the realms of his craft has seen him remain relevant across the entirety of his seventeen-year recording career. But back on remix duty after taking on the likes of The Naked & Famous, Coldplay and Gotye alike, Tijs Verwest puts his own twist on Calvin Harris and Florence Welch’s upcoming single, ‘Sweet Nothing‘.
Somewhat more reminiscent of the original Dance icon that set ablaze the Olympic Games in Athens back in 2004 with a display of Trance wizardry than his output over the past year, Tiësto’s take on ‘Sweet Nothing’ carry’s on a mixture of Trance and his more recent grasp on the Housier side of affairs. Utilising Welch’s ethereal voice with euphoric builds and constructive melodic play, Tiësto’s latest remix is sure to be something of a treat to those still reeling in the memories of his Trance-orientated heyday.
Out October 14 alongside the original and further remixes from Qulinez, Burns and Dirtyloud.

Agree with everything you said. A bit closer to his trance sound but not nearly close enough. Sounds good though.

Interesting remix, but the original is better in my opinion. But this is alot better than his Hell Yeah with showtek, thats for sure.
Madde says:
