With a wealth of positivity surrounding the Dance music industry’s universal union, Montreal’s A-Trak Australian fuzz-master Tommy Trash combine forces for a fine testament to their respective flexible production skills in ‘Tuna Melt’.
With 2012 already shaping up to be the year he shakes things up, Thomas Olsen’s follow-up to potent Fool’s Gold debut single ‘Truffle Pig‘ alongside label head A-Trak sees the cross-nation duo score an original in the name of forward-thinking Dance music. Leaping from segments of soothing melodies and a playful top line to Trash’s signature chugging chord play, the infectious rerunning vocal samples and grinding synth work of ‘Tuna Melt’ indicates that Dance music need not be as predictable as the vast majority has made it.
Update (12/11): Out December 4th on Fool’s Gold Records as part of a four-track EP with the same name.
