Back on remix duty for their most daring effort to date, hotly tipped British Dance assets Tom Staar and Kryder are on hand to present the first official remix of Swedish House Mafia’s recently released sixth single, ”Don’t You Worry Child.”

Where ”Don’t You Worry Child” utilises John Martin’s heartwarming vocals with melodic synth play throughout, the British duo goes in the same vein as their highly-supported remix for Afrojack and Shermanology’s ”Can’t Stop Me” to bring their swift drum work and raw energy to the emotive original. While their Danny Howard-premiered reinterpretation may lack the vocal opulence of the original, Tom Staar and Kryder prove that British House music is on par with a dark and heavier-set turn for this acclaimed farewell single.

Out soon via EMI.

Update: Changed sample

  • vocals doesnt fit with the instrumental . . .instrumental is great but this song is unremixable !!!

  • yes, cowy is right, bad remix… only good remix/edit version i heard was the Version from Joris Voorn!

  • @Cowy:

Totally agree. Sounds like more of a mashup!

  • It fits. The thing is though that the volume on the vocals is slightly to low and the need to play with some elements from the original track.

  • It’s not that bad guys , but yeah nothing can beat the original …

  • Cowy is right, it does not fit.
Why did they use this vocal, they could have made a completely new track.

Now, it just sounds AWFUL :(

They havent even used the piano
    SAD :’-(

  • @Fille I completely agree, perhaps a hook from the piano melody of the original at the end of every second bar or something. Small, but it would add to it.

  • The drop is bangning, but as most of you have pointed out the vocal doesn’t suit the track, and it’s a little disappointing that the same melody is playing throughout the whole tune

  • Train house!!!!!

  • I want instrumental version!!! :) )

  • Are there information about all remixers? I would like to hear a Alesso remix :)

  • This is not good. the instrumental does not fit with the vocals, and it sounds like a mashup. Even without the vocals the instrumental sucks!!

  • Why not just remove the vocals? They dont fit att all.

  • ”and it’s a little disappointing that the same melody is playing throughout the whole tune”

I can’t believe someone actually commented that … Just stfu and leave this world.
    Waiting for instrumental!

  • This is a ‘love it or hate it’ tune… I actually like it, but the vocals are not perfect for the track tho.

  • @ Olle you surely misinformed fellow! first you steal my name and now you complain about repetitive melody? welcome to electronic music, and upon this kind greeting, might i suggest you go have anal intercourse with a cactus?

  • This was indeed very repetative. Not very interesting at all.
Some serious Copy-Paste action right here.

Me for one would have wanted actleast ONE other chordprogression.

  • ITS HOT! SEXY!

  • Ditch the vocals, doesn’t work!

  • the remix which Steve angello played at the end of his size in the park set reminded me of the knife party antidote remix, am I right ?

What about a Otto Knows or No_ID remix for DYWC ?

  • @olle

”Welcome to electronic music”? The majority of all electronic definitely don’t consist of only one melody, and it’s not even that i’m complaining about, more the fact that even the parts with vocal don’t have a layer with chords that go well together with it

  • awesome!!! altho i hope there will be instrumental :)

  • Sooo much better than original mix, this is pure house not a single for Hits for kids or something mainstream!

  • The vocal does not work with this for sure! Remove vocals like Moska did in his Bootleg – which by the way is nothing less than fantastic!

  • maybe make the vocals darker but hey i like this a lot

  • I love me som train house.. skip the vocals and realese it at an own song!

  • great track! very glad that they don’t go for those swedish kinda remixes

  • i actually love this

  • Give me an instrumental of this! Bangin!

  • the drop and break are absolutely going to destroy festivals…my one complaint is that it is a bit repetitive

  • A remix package for this track would be interesting, alongside the extended version

  • This is one of the best remixes of a SHM song I’ve ever heard. Perfect for gigs and festivals. Big ups!

  • Tracks like this shouldn’t be allowed to be remixed. It’s completely flawless you just ruin it.

  • I don’t know what you all want. I think it’s a great mashup sounding remix.

  • Jesse I agree.

  • lets hope other ones can fix this remivx better

  • why would you want to use any part of the original? whole point of a remix is to put the flavour of a different artist onto someone elses already amazing piece of work.
