While remixes from Tom Staar & Kryder and Promise Land have emphasised the heavy-hitting sound now synonymous with remodels of the Swedish trio, the third and final official remix of Swedish House Mafia’s latest single sees ”Don’t You Worry Child” take a turn for the unexpected, courtesy of enigmatic Dutch producer Joris Voorn.
Despite not quite hitting in on the same epic properties as that of ‘Goodbye Fly‘, the sophisticated stylings of Voorn’s deeper House grooves marks a familiar and inspiring cut from the usually trend-setting Netherlands asset. Donning a substantial Electronic diversion to the original’s emotive synth work, Voorn brings some diversity to the package and rounds off this unexpected assortment of remixers with a soothing Tech House twist.
Release date is yet to be announced.

Fan vad tråkigt, förväntade mig en utav honom. Hade varit kul att se vad Otto Knows eller t.ex. Avicii kunde göra med den. Tommy Trash hade varit fett också, hans edit på The Veldt är kunglig. Brukar gilla Joris Voorn men precis som någon nämnde tycker jag den saknar ”gunget” som han annars brukar få till.

Otippad remix men ändå sjukt bra. Inte det lättaste att remixa en sådan här storlåt och få det att låta bra, men tycker ändå att Voorn gör det bra. Precis som alltid med holländaren.
