It has been something of a landmark year for Aussie Electro producer Tommy Trash. But on the back of his debut single for Refune alongside Sebastian Ingrosso ‘Reload’, Tommy ticks off yet another of the infamous Swedish imprints with a blistering debut for Axtone.

Premiered by Axwell at Ushuaia Ibiza for Pete Tong’s Radio One Ibiza special, Tommy injects fellow Aussie club duo the Aston Shuffle’s ‘Won’t Get Lost’ with his own club hallmarks. Dealing in a strong yet melodic surge of mechanical leads and strong Electro beats, ‘Sunrise’ marks the perfect middle ground between Tommy’s sturdy productions and Axtone’s knack for tough yet uplifting releases.

Out October 12th on Axtone.

  • BOMB!

  • Similiar with his remix on Ladi Dadi, but I. Dont. Give. A. Fuck. IT’S HUGE!

  • No bass, no rythym, no groove, just sidechained junk. Don’t really know what you find huge about this?

  • Ax makes me never disappointed

  • Axtone Records, label of the year? No doubt!

  • ..and the artwork looks awesome, not for a change

  • OMG!!!!!!! <3333333333333

I was waiting for this sooooooooooo long !!!!!!! love it!!!!!!!!1

  • Tommy Trash has to be ”the breakthrough of the year” by beatmyday!

  • Damn i love Axtone’s artwork ! I can’t be disapointed by Axwell, always producing or signing sick tune.

  • @Purtnit : not sure if trolling…

  • Yes @Purtnit If Axwell approved it, be sure that this is quality stuff bro.

  • Amazing!

  • Goosebumps never lie!

  • Ladi dadi 2.0, but soooo huge though

  • Golden

  • Amazeballs! Definitely hear Ladi Dadi but there’s so much more to it than that so I don’t care

  • Axtone kan fan dra åt helvete om de inte släpper Pauls Paris – Make Your Mind Up snart …

Jävligt tråkigt att de signar en så bra låt som de vägrar släppa …

  • This is so fucking AMAZING!!!!!! The Headbang pro is back

  • Tbh I think the cover would look better without the falling men.
Solid Axtone release, the original record is great.

  • I wanted the Dubvision ID from Axtone first but can’t complain :) no info about that one yet?

  • FUCK! First Greyhound, now this one! Come one for fuck’s sake, stop changing the tracks! The first melody was better !

  • Please Please Please Release the original version :(
WHY DID HE CHANGE THE MELODY!!!!!!@!@!#!@#!@!@#@#

  • WOOOOOOOW! I agree that it kinda sounds like Tommy Trash’s remix on Ladi Dadi but still this is AMAZING!

  • This is so FUCKING epic that i want to kiss my speakers right now

  • I dunno why, but the live version i heard a month or 2 ago sounded better than this (same thing happened with reload)… still awesome, but thought it would be better

  • That Tommy Trash sound! allways gives you goosebombs<3

  • I don’t know what the meaning of changing the name around is.. Considering it’s still a remix of The Aston Shuffle’s original track at the core..

But regardless, HUGE track, and will bring the Aston boys to a larger fanbase. LOVE!

  • I’m glad that I wasn’t the only one that liked the previous version of the lead. Well, i’m afraid i will have to do what i did with Greyhound, stick with the live version. :-/

  • Great Tommy Trash!

  • DAAAAAMN!!! Love it! Goosebumps NEVER lie! <3!!!

  • @EMIL & @essentialmix yeaahhhh, of course, cause axwell approves it? you must been kidding me, axtone is the same way going as any of those big labels nowadays, Quasar & Here We Go are the best example, sawish junk on a label that released house music which covered up emotions and feelings. Feel The Vibe etc. were tracks you could always listen to, this here is something you get bored of so fast. Axtone has gone chaging to feed the masses, like Size and Refune aswell. PERIOD.

  • Getting tired of the same sounds in his productions… Waiting for Truffle Pig

  • just to get clear the fact that this song sounds like ladi dadi . . .the original of this song is out for a half of year, almoust two . . .than tommy did a remix to be officialy released but he didn’t released it . . . than after that he did the ladi dadi remix to see how that style will go . . .and now he finished it and axtone aproved it as an official release . . .thats the story,so sunrise is not similar to ladi dadi . . .quite opposite :)

  • @Purnit i agree in some degree. axtone has always been a special label for me becaus their releases never dissapoints. but yea ”quasar” and ”here we go” did not fit axtone AT ALL. and no we will never get releases again like ”feel the vibe” or ”watch the sunrise”, but thats because times have changed.
all in all i think tommy trash did a very good job. that melody is really great and goes perfectly with the vocal. imo this release and ”leave a light on” shows us that axtone is still one of the greatest record labels

  • Are you kidding me? where the f*ck is the kick and bass? My ears are bleeding out of the high end.. Cool vocal and melody but nothing of that ”epic” i see in the comments..

  • @EMIL nice to see some understanding, thanks for that. tt did some good works, but i always hate his kicks for example, they are always weak as hell, i just think that this isn’t the normal axtone style.

  • I’m a fan of tommy trash , this guy is a really good profucer . but i’m not feeling this track. And only because it’s a Axtone record some guys say this is epic and stuff.Epic ? No . But if you compare this track to the other 99% of tracks this year is this is good .House music is turning to shit since the EDM term was created .

  • Album cover reminds me of 9/11 lol

  • Great song though

  • Briliant !!!
