Maurizio Colella, by all accounts, has mastered the realms of warm Progressive House. But in the wake of putting a heavyset twist on Avicii’s ‘Silhouettes’, Swiss DJ EDX returns to Toolroom Records to unveil the official follow-up to last year’s ‘Embrace‘ in ‘Touched’.

Building on the sound that has championed his name over the past several years, ‘Touched’ sees Colella’s signature melodic stylings receive a modern twist courtesy of an energetic and blissful mixture of Progressive and Trance. Say what you will about the digression of EDX’s studio-output of late, but ‘Touched’ suggests that EDX will not cease to keep his melodic legacy well and truly alive.

Out October 22nd.
