Bringing club music to the global airwaves yet again, Scottish chart-hopper Calvin Harris teams up alongside London songstress Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine for the release of the fifth single from his upcoming third studio album, ”18 Months,” alongside an unexpected assortment of remixes of old school spirit and new school edge alike.

Somewhat more reminiscent of the original Dance icon that set ablaze the Olympic Games in Athens back in 2004 with a display of Trance wizardry than his output over the past year, the headline remix of ‘Sweet Nothing’ sees Tiësto utilise Florence’s vocal line with a mix of Trance and his more recent grasp on the Housier side of affairs. In a similar vein, Size-endorsed Swedish duo Qulinez showcases blistering chord play and synth-led opulence, leaving enough room for London producer Burns to round off the package in a far more inventive manner, complementing Welch’s angelic voice with an easygoing two-step rhythm.

  • Disappointing that the original is a radio edit :/

  • Remixes not even close to the original imo. A shame there’s not at least an extended edit :(

  • Love the Qulinez remix!

  • WOW! Qulinez are really the most overrated, crappy producers out there. To soon to yell out ”One hit wonder?”
