Leaving the comfort zone of intricate Electro House after a host of solid releases, Argentina’s Charles Deluxe is back with a groovy take on a 2011 single from the music legend that is Barry Manilow. Fusing disco orientated grooves with Manilow’s distinct vocal stylings, Deluxe puts a far funkier twist on the natural energy of the original without leaning on the grittier sound of his previous Electro exploits. While the argument remains that some tracks and artists are too sacred to be remixed, there is little sense of artistic detriment within Charles Deluxe’s respectfully tailored rework of ‘Everything’s Gonna Be Alright’.
