Teaming up with VEVO, David Guetta and Nicky Romero release the overdue official video to their contender for this year’s Miami Music Week, ‘Metropolis‘. Directed by Los Angeles street artist Mr. Brainwash, the video is one of artistic measures throughout. Acting as something of an apt visual accompaniment to artistic wisdom with a strong emphasis on the words of Mr. Brainwash himself: ”Art cannot be criticized because every mistake is a new creation,” the ‘Metropolis’ video takes place in what appears to be an abandoned warehouse and teeters between can spraying and smashing things into pieces before throwing us into an artistically cut sequence of the French/Dutch duo performing in front thousands.

Update (26/10): Behind the scenes video added.

  • Well, this is great, a phony artist and a phony song. Influenced by street art, this will cause more vandalism. MBW, DG and NR didn’t think of that. And no, art is not for everyone.

  • I thought the video was really awesome. totally not what i expected.

  • they made some major fail in this video. The actally have unrendered video in the beginning. Like 30 seconds in. Otherwise boring video.
