Maurizio Colella, by all accounts, has mastered the realms of warm Progressive House. But in the wake of putting a heavyset twist on Avicii’s ‘Silhouettes’, Swiss DJ EDX returns to Toolroom Records to release the official follow-up to last year’s ‘Embrace‘ in ‘Touched’.
Building on the sound that has championed his name over the past several years, ‘Touched’ sees Colella’s signature melodic stylings receive a modern twist courtesy of an energetic and blissful mixture of Progressive and Trance. Say what you will about the digression of EDX’s studio-output of late, but if ‘Touched’ is any indication, EDX will not cease to keep his melodic legacy well and truly alive.

I think this song requires 2 versions. Full of energy Dance version and another, chill Progressive version.

Sounds too much like Tiesto – I Will Be Here (Wolfgang Gartner Remix for me

Completely agree with Steven on this one. While it’s a nice sounding track, it’s simply too similar.
Still love EDX though.
