Though their recent turn for the ‘Housier’ side of affairs may have stirred a slight sense of disdain among the more pure bred Showtek fans, their upcoming second release on Tiësto’s Musical Freedom Records sees the Dutch duo continue to digress from their hardstyle sound with ‘Cannonball’ alongside Amsterdam producer Justin Prime.
Flipping from bright synths to overpowered low-end riffage and standalone lead play, ‘Cannonball’ goes in the same vein as Showtek’s previous collaborations with Tiësto and Hardwell and mirrors the festival-friendly sound we have come to associate with Musical Freedom’s output over the past year.
Out October 29th.

We are waiting this track!
DanSTS says:
Tiesto’s label has been pretty awful this year I’m not going to lie with exception to ”Generation 303″. I don’t know I guess my standards were just so high with last year’s releases like ”Mush Mush”, which was easily the barn burner of 2011.
JOE says:
