Within a year that has shown a notable increase of inventive music videos, Cazzette are on hand to set the bar to an all-time high with the befitting music video to their upcoming single, ‘Beam Me Up’.
Directed by Peter Huang, the video shows giant, ufo-like cassettes appear out of nowhere, hovering over the city of Toronto. But eventually, according to an alleged physicist named Daniel Haid, the spaceship-like aircrafts send out a rhythmic, beat-like signal that thrusts people of Toronto in a euphoric fit of dancing fury before teleporting them to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Cazzette’s performance at EDC Las Vegas.
A subliminal hint at the meteoric rise of the Swedish duo and irresistability of the track, the ‘Beam Me Up’ video is by far the cleverest music video we’ve seen and a strong contender for the music video of 2012. Watch it below.
