For all their industrious progressions, creative Dutch duo Firebeatz have certainly changed their colours on the ascent to the final leg of 2012. Armed with a new offering for Spinnin’ Records in the form of ‘Disque’, the distinguished producers return to embrace the realms of grind-happy Electro House once again.

Laced with raging high-end synth work and a diligently heavy-set chord sequence, the duo’s Knife Part-esque stylings may not hit the mark where originality is concerned, but reigns supreme on the merits of adrenaline soaked stylings and makes for a potent follow-up release to Beatport #2 ‘Dear New York‘.

Out December 10.

  • By far the best track of the year, imo!

  • Very interesting.

  • Well made track of absolutely nothing new to give. Works nicely but 80% of the electro tracks just do the same thing.

  • I’m tired of these ”sick drops” to be honest. Only 5% of them are actually good. Why couldn’t they work more with this AWESOME build-up? Oh well….

  • I meant to say it’s by far ONE of the best tracks of this year.

  • sounds like WTF?! – Nicky Romero & ZROQ

  • Dubstep Pack volume 1 for NI Massive, can’t remember which preset it is though.
