Given a high-profile world premier on Pete Tong’s Essential Selection show for BBC Radio 1, Tiga returns to remix duties for his own Turbo imprint for a remix of Duke Dumont’s ‘The Giver’. While the original has seen plays from the likes of Avicii, this remix of bass-heavy low-end and perky beat work gels seamlessly with the infectious rerunning top line. Without bowing to the more predictable vintage plateaus that House music has so often circled, Tiga’s take on ‘The Giver’ marks the loud and proud return of a heartfelt 70′s advocate pushing all the right buttons from outside of the industry comfort zone once again.

  • Wow this is a BOMB. Tiga has that acid on lock.

  • rofl, how is this acid

  • Hah yeah you got me, it’s not acid house. And I didn’t mean to say this track is. But in my ears it has a synth that in today’s world has the closest resemblance to that acid sound of days past.
