In hopes of proving that the after-club experience is not limited to the summer season, Norway’s Thomas Nellson and Simon Dawn take on the vivid pop stylings of London three-piece Daughter with their remix of ‘Youth’.

Where Scandinavia’s hold on Electronic music is more commonly associated with peak time energy, Nellson and Dawn take an ambient approach to this diverse unofficial take for the final leg of 2012. Still drawing a great deal of stimulus from the seamless vocal stylings of leading lady Elena Tonra, the duo’s Deep canvas of dreamy guitar leads and tempered beats flow coherently to create one of the more refined installments of chilled Electronic music to emerge from the industry of late.

  • Wow, I love it!

  • omg :D i know Thomas :D “jeg er stolt av deg Nilsen :D

  • Great job!

  • The funny thing is that Dawn can’t actually produce, so he just “teams up” with people who can. All hail to Nellson for this, Dawn should stop leeching off others.

  • There is more to music than just the production of it. The whole concept behind this song is great, and that’s most likely something they worked on together.

  • John, that is bullshot. I know Simon Dawn, and he sent me a preview of the Youth-remix many weeks before he teamed up With Nellson, and Simon’s version was great too.

  • The whole track was his idea, and he had been working on it for a long time before Thomas joined in.

  • Hey guys, thanks alot for the good speeches about our remix! Glad so many picked it up!! :) First of all, we remixed the tune together in our way. It doesn’t really matter to me who did the most of the track.

  • You will find some interesting points over time in this posting but I don’t determine if I see these folks center to heart. There is certainly some validity but I will take hold opinion until I look into it further. Great post , thanks and that we want a good deal a lot more! Put into FeedBurner also
