Where Electro has taken some chops and turns since its European forefathers stepped in, France’s Breakbot has had no trouble staying afloat amid his traditional take on the genre. Back to follow up his highly-acclaimed debut album ‘By Your Side,’ Ed Banger-endorsed Thibaut Berland takes on remix duties for a track off of Para One’s second album, ‘Passion’. Pitching sharp, bubbly leads against warm vintage synths, Breakbot’s remix of ‘When The Night’ maintains the funky approach of the original with melodic substance.
