In an age where the pop/club crossover sparks more rigorous online debate than record sales, the chart topping Dutchman best known as Afrojack returns to high-end remix duties for an official take of Keane.

Turning his head for the synth-laden terrains of Dance music, Nick van de Wall’s re-interpretation of ‘Sovereign Light Café’ sees him go in a similar vein as Alesso’s remix of ‘Silenced By The Night.’ Pitting Keane’s angelic top line against blissful leads and the high-octane Afrojack drops, the Wall label head avoids offence as much as one could’ve hoped for with this euphoric pop-to-club crossover.

Out today on Beatport.

  • WTF is up with afrojack and this horrible sidechain he has in every track? it fucking hurts to listen to this…

  • Awesome song. I wish Afrojack made more songs like this, rather then stick to his boring beep beep Afrojack style, like Annies Theme

  • Not so bad for being afrojack

  • Great job, DubVision. ò_ò

  • Whatever brings the girls to the dancefloors gais! This will be a strong one

  • Afrojack high as f**k, thinks he’s Alesso and s**t :P

  • I like Alesso much more then Afrojack, but when it comes to Keane remixes, Afrojack did a lot better job then Alesso
