Fresh footed and rife from a whirlwind year for both respective beat smiths, German club mogul Nick Curly receives affirmative remix duties from the ranks of Osunlade’s Yoruba Soul moniker in the name of outspoken House music with a strong soulful exterior.
Having provided some stellar remix spots throughout 2012, his first for camp Defected of the New Year channels warm vintage synths and strong exotic percussive elements through the core of Curly’s strong original. Packing the same hypnotic ambience and melodically refined elements that have championed Osunlade to the ranks of House Master and beyond, ‘Wrong Hands’ sets the precedent for things to come to a stunning high for 2013.
Out January 21st via Defected Records.

Remixes of this and Piano in the Dark are okay, but nothing special. Originals are much better!
