Having ascended the industry ladder considerably throughout 2012, Germany’s Deniz Koyu sees in the New Year with a hotly anticipated return to Sebastian Ingrosso’s Refune Records imprint to follow-up festival favorite ‘Bong’.
First premiered on Swedish House Mafia’s One Last Tour last year, ‘Rage’ plays the peak time sensibilities we expect from Koyu close to heart, using ascending rhythmic progressions and an adrenaline fuelled climax of grinding leads to seal yet another fine example of Dance music fit for the club floor and festival circuit alike. With a further solo offering alongside Dirty South enroute for Phazing Records imprint and considerable mileage courtesy of the Generation Wild Tour, 2013 looks to be a definitive year for this leading German asset.
Update (19/3): ‘Rage’ will be released March 25th.

Fat!
Ricky says:
Going to be huge!
Kim K. says:
DEAR GOD! Deniz Koyu has never let me down, and never will. This is going to be huge, as always. Thank you Deniz! Still rocking bong every minute!
Bruce Wayne says:
Köttig! Fan ta ”big room synth”-låtar eller prutt-bass, detta är fan det som gäller.
Armin says:
Words can’t describe the awesomeness of this song.
T-Road says:
Must say that I’m disappointed with the track. Not the sound that I’m familiar to hear from Deniz. Tung, Bong and Follow You was pure eargasms, but this….I don’t know….
Josh says:
ya not so sure about this one. its definitely interesting
Löp says:
En ripoff som allt annat han gör, don’t get me wrong den är fet, otroligt fet. Men denna kille kommer aldrig med något eget.
Denna – tricky, steve angello
Bong, tribeca – sunnery james & ryan marciano
Tung – behöver jag ens säga? not so dirty
Hans miike snow remix var förövrigt kass
David says:
bitch please…this has nothing from steve angello tricky and bong has nothing from tribeca. else every progressive or electro house tune is stolen from another one.
it’s fat! want to hear in full length HQ
Davidsen says:
Norway went crazy to this tune when SHM played it, sick!
Ritchie says:
Decent track.

This track sounds decent, hard to tell from such a short preview
lolmad says:
@ Löp
Jag kan hålla med om not so dirty men de andra är inte lite solklara ripoffs. Gillar dock att folk håller lite koll på folk som bara snor andras saker
Someone says:
Sounds alot like Buy now – For sale

Moeske says:
Tough to tell from the preview….but another different approach from Koyu.
Arya says:
holy shiiiiiiiit!
mike says:
Does Danny Avila have rich parents or whats the deal? Why he getting so much hype? I have heard his dj sets but im not impressed at all. He is only playing the most known electro tracks from beatport top100 with some pop music mashups.
His producing skills don’t seem great, judging from the first track he released and he goes on tour ? and plays all around the world like what the …?
There is so much more talented guys in the scene and they are struggling while this guy is playing their songs.. I feel so bad for those guys
Bruce Wayne says:
@Mike
Every hyped 15-17 year old in this business has probably rich parentes. It’s a bunch of WoW-playing kids who wants to be dj’s and begs their parents to rent a studio with at promis that they will make it to the top. Money rules obviously. Sad, indeed.
Bruce Wayne says:
*parents
Silly me.
tjee says:
FET
me says:
sounds like tricky…
Tomorrowland 2013 says:
deniz koyu is killing it
Armin says:
Fantastic song!
Bruce Kable says:
I don’t know why there’s a discussion about Danny Avila going on here but here’s the answer to the ”rich parent” thing:
”My father had an interior design company specialising in nightclubs, hotels…that’s why since I was a kid he showed me all clubs he was designing. Some nightclub owners became family friends…and my dad used to tell them that I was DJing at home and I was obsessed with music.”
(from http://www.dmcworld.net/dj-tv/entry/news/danny-avila.html)
So yeah, the kid has connections handed to him on a silver platter.
