Release: Claptone – Wrong EP

Berlin-based Deep House advocate Claptone returns to Shir Khan’s Exploited Records to kickstart 2013 with the release of his two-track ‘Wrong’ EP.
Leading with the instantly recognizable riff from Dr. Dre’s ‘Still D.R.E’, title track ‘Wrong’ turns the ‘99 classic into a track of growling bass and chugging grooves. On the flip, Claptone brings aboard dOP singer Jaw to pen ‘No Eyes’ – a track rife with ambience and melodic vitality.
Out now on Beatport.

. Claptone a name to follow on soundcloud for me
Ritchie says:
Haha! Genius. You can find 99% of the samples in their Cream track.
‘Wrong’ is still a great track though!

Loved the track Wrong, but seriously! The similarities between Wrong – Claptone and
Still D.R.E. – Dr. Dre are just ridiculous! Haha, same piano chords and bassline all the way through. Just pitched slightly differently. Must compare!!!
