Given a world exclusive first play on Pete Tong’s Essential Selection last night, Armin van Buuren unveils the first single from his highly-anticipated, next studio album, ”Intense”.

Leading with a ‘Nothing Inside’-like tone, ‘This Is What It Feels Like’ sees the Dutch producer digress from his uptempo trance sound to showcase his softer side. Pitting a bed of anthemic piano riffs alongside Trevor Guthrie’s melodic vocals, the first single of ‘Intense’ gives us a taste of what’s told to be an album that highlights Armin’s unwillingness to be typecast.

Out April 5th.

  • Amazing!

  • Ah okay, I was wondering why he didn’t premier it on his own ‘A State Of Trance’ Show but as I heard the track, it was obviously not fitting into the trance show. But it is definitely a nice Track!

  • I don´t like the trance so much but this song

  • :) :)

  • sounds something david guetta would produce and he acctually does it better.. dam.

  • David Guetta ft. Coldplay – The Summer Song

  • this is fucking amazing, got goosebumps several times…

REALLY didnt expect this from armin sound-wise but WOW this was good

  • Armin should do Armin

David Guetta should do David Guetta

  • Really good vocals, but people only seem to like kick + bass in drops nowadays. If there is any kind of feeling in the track it is suddenly ”david guetta ft coldplay”

  • erik_m, dont be so fucking stupid and appreciate good music instead of trying to put the producer in a corner

  • Armin van Buuren <3
