Adding further momentum to his recent spree of success, Australian producer Dirty South returns to the airwaves of BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix following his 2008 debut with an emotional two hours of tracks from his newly released debut album, ”Speed Of Life”, as well as a bevy of unreleased music.

In a whirlwind session of upfront crowd pleasers and exclusive picks from the cream of his imprint’s young roster, Dragan Roganović’s fluid mixing style and knack for mashups sees his approach to live performances translate seamlessly into his second Essential Mix. With the addition of unreleased tracks from Pryda, Size Records and Nom De Strip, this two-hour run shows the Australian at his best, sailing through a slew of different styles before finishing things off with a humble tribute to the recently passed away Aussie DJ Ajax.

  • This essential mix is a joke but whatever.

I’m looking for an old unreleased remix (or maybe a bootleg) by Dirty South. I can’t remember who is the original artist. Track name is something like ”Elegy”, I think.

It’s one of the best things Dirty South has ever done, that might help?

    Anyone?

  • thought dirty south’s 2008 essential mix was miles ahead of this one, still listen to it a couple of times a year, never gets old. link to stream http://www.hulkshare.com/uivgw5s1nbre

  • Slight addition to the trackist:
    14. Ummet Ozcan – Here & Now [Spinnin] w/ Dirty South ft. Rudy – Phazing (Acapella)

  • tell me please the name of the first two songs that play in the introduction?

  • List: Dirty south – Let it Go (Axwell Remix) & Dirty South & Thomas Gold – Alive

    Hope that helps..

    I think it’s a decent Essential mix
