If the Scandinavian’s choice to celebrate Christmas a day earlier than the rest of the world had never held much in the way of benefits before 2011, then this year truly rewrote the rulebooks. Boasting an already comfortable year for the reputation and influx of fine Swedish House music, a stellar cast of its home grown talent descended on Gothenburg to not only nod to one of the globes most outdated traditions to date, but tip their hats to a year that truly put the country’s thriving musical legacy back on the map.
Reaping in the essential support of Tiësto and his rising hometown peer Hardwell for latest banger ‘Crunch’, fresh-faced Gothenburgian homeboy Franz Novotny took on the task of opening the night’s festive outing of Swedish talent following a promising year for the relatively unknown newcomer. Despite being severely delayed, Novotny’s second live outing highlighted the true potential of the 18-year-old, dealing the early crowds an energetic outing of unreserved House music despite the unfortunate hiccup.
Linus Eklöw, the man behind the rising European House moniker Style Of Eye, was sure to be in true festive spirit the subsequent year of positively frenzied antics. As a self professed radical against all imaginable genre constraints and guidelines, the Stockholm based producer has gradually deviated from outright Techno to multifaceted dance floor dissipation, attracting the likes of Claude Von Stroke’s Dirty Bird and German imprint Pickadoll along the way to establish himself as something of a leader of Sweden’s new school House movement. In an energetic display of popular dance floor fillers, Eklow’s technical approach to his live set added a dimension of appeal to his already sterling reputation for live House music, using current favourites from Dada Life, Avicii and Swedish House Mafia to keep the crowds large and loud throughout his triumphant return to Sweden.
Making an unforgettable mark on James Blunt’s ‘Dangerous’ back in August alongside Deniz Koyu, Johan Wedel’s fearless approach to owing offerings has sealed him an unwritten seal as one of Sweden’s youngest budding heroes amid the scenes uncharted territories. Boasting a sharp hand for intense outings of unassuming Progressive House cuts, last night’s highly anticipated Christmas showdown marked an incredibly suitable arena for the 21year-old beat smith to strut his stuff after a long withstanding residency in Cannes. Donning an incredibly loud jacket to the night’s festive proceedings, Wedel’s enthusiastic sing-alongs and diverse range of material seemed to hit all the right notes for those in attendance at this long awaited hometown return for the promising Swede hopeful. Despite his set suffering the wrath of earlier delays, Wedel dealt a direct and energetic blow of an own re-edit alongside a host of well-received leaps from emotive builds and powerful drops, proving exactly why he deserves the attention mustered throughout 2011.
Warily balancing the realms of mainstream club mongering and earnest dissident dance floor contributions whilst keeping a weary distance from the global press, the public eye has seldom been stolen from the iconic Swede powerhouse behind some of global Dance music’s most beloved offerings. Rumoured to be an original affiliate of the country’s illustrious House mafiosa, Eric Prydz has kept his discography ticking with a hit-after-hit under the well-endowed stronghold of his musical empire, consisting of monikers Pryda and Cirez D aswell as imprints Pryda and Mouseville. Of all the Swedish stars that could have come for Christmas, there was never a doubt that the return of Sweden’s modestly spoken House appendage. In an outing of well-received original cuts from his own well-stocked discography, there were few unmoved by the original Swedish master at last night’s proceedings. Still flawless in his transitions and greeted with a wave of fist pumping homeland followers, there was little indication of Prydz’s dynamic live appeal going anywhere fast in the nights festive proceedings. Drawing on favoured classics from Daft Punk an Faithless in the process, some special cuts from the night suggest that as one hell of a year for the globally acclaimed producer ends, the one approaching promises to be nothing short of magic for this well preserved legend of European Dance music.
As another of Sweden’s young leaders that once basked in the country’s misconstrued Techno scene, Henrik B is a different breed in European Dance music’s à la mode forces. Strongly tipped by Axwell and boasting support from the likes of Tiësto and Mr. Prydz himself, his well-pitched offensive of the globes supreme outlets of Electronic music has gained him a reputation as one of Swedish Dance music’s most hotly tipped producers to date. Unhindered by the slightly thinning crowds, it was the crowds glowing reactions to renowned singalong moments of ‘Levels’ and Adrian Lux’s ‘Teenage Crime’ that truly hit home the sheer dynamics of Henrik Berntsson’s mass appeal on the global clubbing circuit. Finishing proceedings with an actively charged outing of modern bangers, Berntsson preserved the crowds into the earlier hours of the morning with little effort and a whole surge of enthusiasm. Singing off an incredibly positive night of home grown Electronic music, this highly enthusiastic final set could not have better encapsulated the warm glow of pride and excitement that surrounds Swedish House music as its players prepare to bring even more positive noise for 2012.

There is no denying that where Electronic Dance Music is concerned, Sweden has taken the torch for 2011. In the first event of it’s kind at the Erricson Globe arena in Stockholm, the industry’s most prominent young players gathered alongside a somewhat dignified member of its musical elite and 300,000 watts of speaker output to make loud and proud noise for a movement in music that has excelled all expectations despite the crushing economic vices that have surrounded Europe.
Ditching the nervous start rather promptly, Bromma based newcomer Leo Netz inherited the gruelling task of kicking off last night’s rather boisterous proceedings. In honour of his inclusion in the early parts of the live spectacle, Netz dealed in Deep House grooves and its calmer qualities to greet the arrival of the night’s early risers. Paying little attention to the trickling crowds, we can only wonder if a later set would do the young gun further justice, but as far as opening acts go Stockholm could have done far worse than this promising young Swede.
As far as hotly tipped Dutch House artists are concerned, Nicky Romero has mounted an intense shift in popularity for 2011. As he prepares to follow David Guetta on his sold-out UK tour alongside Nero in 2012, the event was good grounds to judge whether the rising Dutch producer could handle the big league with same vigour that he has brought to the underground scene over the past couple of years. In a vivid set dominated by his own well-received productions, Romero’s intense transits gave the gathering crowds their first lethal injection of feel-good floor play for the night. Evidently making the right moves in a mash-up of well-endowed favourites from across the spectrum and a sneaky drop of forthcoming banger ‘Toulouse’, Romero’s display of essential fist pumping moments were essentially collected by the crowds reaction to Avicii collaboration ‘ID’, suggesting much louder ground for 2012 from a Dutch contender who has truly earned the attention.
Hometown hero Alesso has many reasons to be celebrating as the year draws to an inevitable close. Fresh off the mark from his busiest summer to date, which saw bless some of the globes biggest festivals alongside the likes of Swedish House Mafia, what better way to emphasise the young Swedes timely rise to the big league than a sold-out appearance at one of the Sweden’s biggest arenas. But despite asking the crammed entourage of adoring hometown enthusiasts if they are read, no one could have been prepared for the dynamic live equation conjured by Sweden’s House-orientated boy wonder. With an array of mobile phones hitting the backdrop of the globe arena with the same velocity as that coming from the stage from start-to-finish, Alesso’s returning escapade hit all the right notes for his Swedish peers. Racing through such bangers as ‘Calling’, ‘Raise Your Head’ and his beloved remode of David Guetta’s ‘Titanium’, it was a heartfelt nod of thanks to his Swedish fan base that saw him drop the ultimate talking point of 2011 studio output – his well-received remix of Nadia Ali and Starkiller’s ‘Pressure’. With the world well and truly tuned in to the hard-hitting House helmsman, Alesso brought home the celebrations with outright style and a genuine sense of appreciation for the people that put him there.
Boasting 10,000 crowds at his seasonal Monday night spectacle at Privilege Ibiza, Tiësto has proven that there is simply no show too big for his maximal approach to Electronic music. Donning his globally appraised turntable intellect to the premiere of the latest Mission Impossible film in Brazil just days before Saturday’s sold-out event, the grandeur surrounding the original Dutch superstar’s presence across the globe has shown no signs of simmering down under the hands of time and relentless shifts in trend. Displaying an array of stunning lights, blaring visual components and maximal laser therapy, Tiësto showed the crowd just how much character the don of Dutch Dance music still brings to any proceedings, dipping in and out of every sub-genre imaginable in a well collected retrospect of the year in bonafide club anthems. Taking the time to appraise Avicii’s phenomenal anthem ‘Levels’ before dropping Nause’s Made Of and his own remix of Coldplay’s ‘Paradise’, not a single foot was left rooted amid the definitive peak of Tiësto’s well-executed musical manoeuvres. Throwing the crowd down memory lane with a brief diversion into the realms of what made him with a surprise appearance from some early anthems of his heyday, even those left sulking about his more recent digression into House music could not help but get caught up in the retrospect of his undeniable contributions to Trance music. Ending on ‘Zero 76’ and ‘Maximal Crazy’, Sweden is given a well-rounded display of just why this man has endured global Dance music with the utmost ease, signalling that with the approach of 2012 there will be many more firsts for this avid Dutch icon to tick off.
Further to speculation that the talent surrounding modern Dance music gets younger every year, notorious Dutch House spectacle Hardwell ended proceedings with the boyish grandeur you would expect from one of the DJ Mag Top 100 Poll’s youngest additions to date. After a year of well-received releases, exciting bootlegs and a tour-schedule that would cripple even the strongest newcomer, it is safe to say that the punch behind Robbert van de Corput’s premature legacy is no short-lived fad. Despite the thinning crowds that tend to follow such a large set from Tiësto, the final chapter in a somewhat Dutch invasion of Sweden just kept getting stronger. Dealing in mighty blows of the dynamic turntable dexterity that have hailed him as a strong contender for the big league, his shoddy set time was not enough to defer from the energy of his intensely popular ‘Levels’ bootleg and forthcoming single ‘Spaceman’. With a direct injection of enthusiasm from the very vocal Dutch youngster, Hardwell gave the final leg of proceedings the energy of a headline set, boasting a furiously triumphant finish to undoubtedly one of the finest talking points for live Dance music in Sweden for 2011.

After a two year residency in Stockholm, Eric Prydz, also known as Pryda, Cirez D and more, brings his annual Christmas tradition to the second biggest city of Sweden, Gothenburg, along with a string of noteworthy Swedish electronic dance music exports for a night that is looking to be his best Christmas show in Sweden to date.
Responsible for behemoths like Pjanoo, Niton, Melo and the recent 2Night amongst countless others, the now 35 year old Dj and producer is a mastermind in its natural grace. Representing integrity, brilliance and an admirable awareness of all things producing, the Stockholm-born powerhouse of a producer is a loyal and pioneering mercenary of electronic dance music and also, by many, even regarded as a living legend of his craft. Coming off his recent, third EPIC live show, which was attended by a crowd of 11 000 people, the acknowledgement of Prydz’ impressive live shows continues to grow as the projection of his third Christmas show is in full swing. Also hot off a signing with EMI, which has been making for assumptions regarding the fact that his debut artist album might not be too far away now, there is quite the buzz surrounding camp Prydz nowadays, just in time for him to sell out the vast halls of Svenska Mässan on Christmas Day.
Renowned for building his foundations with the assistance of his dexterous ability to create playful merges of fierce club sounds and his signature way of filtering and chopping up vocals, Johan Wedel is a prime example of the immense talent many young Swedish producers are in possession of. Since his game-changing remix to Lose Control came out in post-summer of 2010 has the club music scene witnessed Wedel’s productions score plays from the likes of Swedish House Mafia, Tiësto, David Guetta and more and pioneer a soon to be released collaboration with Fedde Le Grand and Deniz Koyu to consequently make up an avant-guard of aspiring producers across the globe.
Following on from a short but intense appearance on national television in early November, the sterling Refune Records representative Linus Eklöw, professionally known as Style Of Eye, is also making for a Christmas night in honour of the most outright of modern dance music sounds. His distinguished style and prestigious reputation has paved the way for numerous installments on the record label of Sebastian Ingrosso, most recently with the tremendous We Are Boys, and trademarks such as Antidote, Girls, Grounded, Sexx and more over the past few years.
With the remarkably timeless Teenage Crime remode alongside Axwell under his belt, Henrik Berntsson, better known as just Henrik B, is another prominent character amongst Sweden’s distinct House music export. Recognized by his eccentric productions and downright humorous personality, the Skövde-bred producer has become an intriguing act to follow make appearances on David Tort’s The Mansion label and Armada this year. Henrik B is also in possession of a wide pallette of aces up his sleeve, including a Dirty South-premiered collaborative effort with Niklas Gustavsson and an upcoming single release on Axwell’s Axtone Records.
Although he is merely just a freshman in terms of producing, 18 year old Franz Novotny is already showcasing a wealth of production proficiency. Signed with the down-under based Vicious Recordings, the very same label that secured Avicii as one in their artist roster a few years back, and seeing recurrent support from the likes of Kaskade, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike to name a few fall in favour of the diverse and dynamic style of his two Crunch and Big Bang singles, Novotny is an aspirant worthy of keeping a close watch upon.

Celebrating the release of the Hollywood remake of the successful Swedish 2009 motion picture, based on one of the many ingriguing books from Stieg Larsson, five festivities are arranged to take place across the globe, whereof one is set to take place in Sweden capital. Also hosting a number of top-class DJ acts, Saturday evening at Ambassadeur in Stockholm, Sweden is certain to be a convivial event.
The line-up – headlined by a DJ set from Miike Snow Sound System, which consists of Christian Karlsson, Pontus Winnberg and Andrew Wyatt from the indie pop group Miike Snow – embraces a widespread variety of different genres and sounds. Founded in 2007, Miike Snow are a trio responsible for a diverse sound and a wide pallette of top notch radio hits like Animal, Black & Blue and Silvia off their self-titled debut album in 2009. Having made appearances on worldwide television, been given prime-time air-time on BBC’s radio channels and other established radio stations as well as being featured in numerous sport games and events, their luscious and rhythmical sound has planted themselves as a sensational act in the music industry. And not only have their outputs become vastly recognized hit singles on the radio, but their onslaught on electronic dance music has made notable impact on clubland over the past couple of years with remix duties from Sebastian Ingrosso & Dirty South, Bart B More, Crookers, DJ Mehdi and more.
Chase & Status, the electronic music duo from London, are also joining in on the string of unique acts coming to Sweden this weekend. With their second album, ”No More Idols” out, Will Kennard and Saul Milton have become two of the more influential producers in drum and bass, breakbeat and dubstep lately. Holding a track roster that comprises everything from the intricate sound design of ‘End Credits’, with Plan B, to soothing records like Time, with an amazing vocal from Delilah, Chase & Status are recurringly showing their capability of combining different genres into a spot-on merge.
Noisia, the Dutch trio who recently signed with Deadmau5′ Mau5trap label, are responsible for a dynamic touch to the drum and bass and dubstep scenes. Nik Roos, Martijn van Sonderen and Thijs de Vlieger’s complex and creative take on the elementary dubstep has become their crucial ground-breaker along with recent-times releases on Mau5trap. Despite the fact that they have been around since early 00’s, it’s not until recently the Dutchmen have breached new barriers with the release of Tommy’s Theme, a remix to Deadmau5 and more.
Last but not least, we have Alex Drury, professionally known as Alex Metric, rounding this unique line of eminent electronic music icons off. Primarily known for his infamous collaboration with Steve Angello, titled ‘Open Your Eyes’, and the quite recent remix to Niki & The Dove’s ‘Mother Protect’ which has been a regular in the live sets of the entire camp Swedish House Mafia this year, mainly in a mashup with Afrojack’s ‘Replica’, Metric has become a household name of EMI Music after also having remixed the likes of Depeche Mode, Bloc Party, La Roux, NERD, Phoenix and more.
We are, yet again, honored to have been delegated an exclusive guest list for this event which provides free entry for our fellow followers and readers. All you have to do to sign yourself up is to send your name and age (an age of 18 is required) to info@beatmyday.com and mark the e-mail by ”3 December guest list”. Having made widespread impact on the industry over the past two years, it’s no secret the flourishing ascent of Deniz Koyu knows no boundaries. With the trenchant release of Grunge in early 2010 paving the way for his acknowledged break-through, followed by Lose Control and releases like the remix on My Feeling and Time Of Our Lives, it was on a wave of acclamation 26 year old Koyu entered 2011 uncertain of the peerless triumphs ahead of him. Not only has his filthy yet uplifting offerings dibbled a somewhat accurate image of his musical preferences, but also pioneered a world renowned signature sound and the widely known ability to scoop recognition from the grandest of electronic dance music icons, the Swedish House Mafia, Fedde Le Grand and Tiësto included. Exchanging his long-term indenture with the Scream And Shout label for a successful signing with Flamingo, the record label of Fedde Le Grand and Funkerman, along with the release of Tung! in late June, the now Breda-based Deniz Koyu has become the mastermind responsible from some of 2011’s most prominent club anthems. And with the aforementioned Tung!, Hydra, Hertz, the dynamic remix on James Blunt’s Dangerous alongside Johan Wedel and an upcoming cut of Kaskade’s Turn it Down making up his highly-rated discography thus far, numerous shows back-to-back with Fedde, non-stop traveling and a bundle of forthcoming hits are merely a few of the things awaiting the German in the bright times ahead.
Nextly is the show in the vast halls of Ambassadeur in Stockholm, Sweden on Friday, at the holy digits of 11-11-11.

Standing firmly placed with both feet at the very marrow of clubland after an oustandingly steady rise since 2001, the accomplishments of Ryan Raddon, better known as Kaskade, are nothing short of amazing. As he’s currently preparing to release another artist album, entitled ”Fire & Ice”, there is undoubtedly nothing holding back the Chicago-bred veteran. Although he debuted his first album in 2003, it was not until the indenture with Ultra in 2006 that the ascension of Kaskade truly took off, leading him into a placing amongst modern-day’s most highly-rated DJ’s in terms of electronic dance music. And he has most certainly shown dignity of maintaining a position of such calibre as 2011 has been an utterly fruitful year for the man recently voted America’s Best DJ. Responsible for stainless remixes on Skrillex’s Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites and Daft Punk’s Rinzler and the album count-down releases of Eyes and Turn It Down so far this year, Kaskade emerges the halls of Club Ambassadeur in Stockholm, armed with an armada of unreleased records off his forthcoming double album, for a night to remember.

Having attended all of the previous three Where’s The Party? by Carlsberg parties this year to great delight, a hype, large as the Great Wall of China, was covering the surroundings for last night’s grand finale in Sweden capital. And it sure was a full-on mayhem that took place in the spacious venue of Frihamnshallen in the harbour of Stockholm, fulfilled by the God-like stage experience of the Carlsberg tour’s recurring household name – Axwell.
With a number of releases coming up on Size Records and a ton of hit remixes and singles out, Sebjak returned to his fellow native city to deliver a fourth and final uptempo warm-up for one of the globe’s grandest House pioneer’s. Opening up a string of tech offerings, it was with great pleasure to the aural cavities the well-reputed Swede hit the decks just after 10 PM for his close to two hour long set, mainly made up by the forthcoming squadron of releases Sebjak has got ahead of him. Facing a future of great success, the tribal sounds of his remarkably characteristic offerings would, with last night’s brilliant set-up, outplay any pre-set of this magnitude. The mood within the walls of Frihamnshallen was slowly but steadily on a seething rise along with the ever growing pack of electronic dance music head’s that replenished the venue. With an eager crowd, going absolute nuts as early as hours before the influential Ax was scheduled to play, I think it’s pretty safe to say last night was up for the test as Sebjak implemented his duty of a vital mood-raiser with the screening of tons of hot out from the lab-material such as Tommy Trash’s Future Folk, Third Party’s Feel and numerous record’s from the Stockholm native himself.
Being the king of Summer anthem’s, one third of Sweden’s eminent House music export and the live act the whooping 4000 strong crowd were anxious to see, an armada of camera displays lit up the building as the curtain dropped along with the kick-off of the hit single that 2011’s Axwell tour is built upon – Heart Is King. Following Ax’s 2011 trademarker was the one record Afrojack named this year’s best release of his own Wall label, Sending My Love, and frankly, after witnessing it being a prime-time moment last night, there is most certainly no arguing with that statement. As the night lingered, the newest making, entitled Hertz, from the talented Deniz Koyu was given an exclusive first play just minutes before the guitar riff and grooves of Michael Calfan’s astounding Resurrection built up the tension further until the fourth and upcoming Swedish House Mafia single was touted in the major set-up of Funktion One-speakers with its dizzying trance filled synth leads and mind-blowing drop-off, mashed with the impeccable breakdown of Dirty South’s new Walking Alone and Miami 2 Ibiza’s graceful arrangements. Perfection and persistent enactings of Ax’s world renowned uttering’s ”Goosebumps never lie” and ”Turn off your brain, turn on your heart” have elevated the DJ and producer that was placed amongst the top 10 globally in DJ Mag’s top 100 last year and it was nothing but one of the world’s most prominent live performers and producers we witnessed causing a flawless mayhem from our panoramic view at the backmost of the venue throughout the night. Showcasing a different structure in comparison to his previous show’s, countless banging mash-ups and new and old material, Ax proved his worth of being a top-tier DJ with a supreme performance that only seemed to get better and better as the night continued towards the live efferent from the vocalist behind the global radio hit, Save The World. Finishing off with a playlisting and live anecdote of 2009’s Leave The World Behind that, even though the Swedish House Mafia was yet to be officially created, is considered the break-through of the trio, the general liking of last night gets our full-on 10!
As we now flash back on all four edition’s of the Carlsberg tour, I think it’s utmostly safe to state the set-up of this year’s Where’s The Party? events was a complete success, flipping from Båstad’s amazing night to the utter perfection of the Stockholm edition with a continued upgrade of light shows, speaker systems and venue lay-outs along the way – a journey many are not capable of doing. But fronted and fuelled by the almighty Axwell, an eager anticipation for Where’s The Party? 2012 and self-evident purchase of tickets are only facts from the treats of 2011.
Be sure to check out the videos in HD (720p) and the tracklistings after the break as well!

One of this planet’s most prominent DJ characters brought his utter A-game to the port city of Gothenburg to pull the weight for 2011’s third edition of Where’s The Party? by Carlsberg.
Where The Beatles, Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson all have been coined as inimitable has now succeeded in bringing aboard the king of sun-kissed Summer anthems – Axwell – to an untouchable spot as a steadily recurring headliner and one third of the highly-acclaimed Swedish House Mafia trio. His thriving personality stand merely speechless in comparison to the vast stage experience and immense ability to scoop success from the darkest of places with a host like no other, including Heart Is King and the ever so dance-friendly remixes of In The Air and Sweet Disposition (with Dirty South). And dance-friendly was most certainly the essential adjective for last night’s event at the large venue of Trädgårn, at which there was not a single square metre not occupied by the pumping fists of a true electronic dance music head.
Opening up with a set from one of Sweden’s most intriguing and ascending DJ’s to date, whom delivered a two hour heater which pretty much outshined the majority of all warm up-sets with its tremendous dynamics of throbbing club beats, old school riffs and sing-along tech anthems, the night was already off to a great start about to get nothing, if not better! From the 2011 contender from Duck Sauce, Big Bad Wolf, to numerous forthcoming smashes from his truly, Sebjak showcased widespread skill in mixing, live mashups and records like Third Party’s already highly rated Feel hit and Tommy Trash’s mighty electro follow-up to The End which we now can unveil is named Future Folk.
Coming off a year of stupendous prosperity from the global support from the House and EDM scene, the tension at last night’s event with Axwell was dangerously close to touchable as the slamming hook of Alesso’s breakthrough single was touted in the top of the line speaker system along with the Bentley’s of all effect set-ups pushing towards what some might refer to as the ”true Swedish House Mafia experience”. Well, now we sure know what this mob is capable of doing as the yet not benamed single collaboration with Knife Party was a crucial gem to the introduction of the set of Sweden’s most celebrated DJ export last night. Although the Swedish House mobsters have shown indications of hosting a solid amount of tracks throughout each set, Ax boasted Sunday night with innovative reinforcements in shape of a couple of previously unknown ID’s and countless stirring mash-ups from the Swedish trio with a purpose to please our aural hollows like only a superstar can. Dominated by productions from established Swede’s and talents of camp Swedish House Mafia, the craving thousands saw Axwell drop, not one, not two, but well over a dozen vital peak-timers throughout the night, including Calling, Levels and the trio’s remix of Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall by Coldplay to name a few. To please a craving crowd with the built-in technics of a mixer and three cd-players has become a crashing ability of the man – who’s all about the heart and its stunning fixtures like purveying a setting of goosebumps along with the aural pleasure a bouncing baseline can provide in combination with catchy big room synths – and his wingmen and is frankly even further astonishing when watching a 2000 strong mob literally go nuts to the monstrous icon’s set of club anthems. To top it all off, Save The World-vocalist John Martin joined in to celebrate his birthday vibrating his vocal cords to the sing-along hit Swedish House Mafia’s latest single release has become from the looks of last night’s chanting crowd.
Well, I tried but ”you can’t explain it – you got to experience it!” Hope these HD videos below will clear things up and be sure to grab yourself a ticket next time any of the three mafioso members is emerging a town near you.

Size does matter. That was the fact the acclaimed Size brothers presented us at the sold out event in Gothenburg last night. With well over 1700 clubbers raving in the spacious venue of Trädgår’n to the remarkable selection of top offerings from Sebjak, AN21 and Steve Angello – three of the most prominent Swedish exports within house music today – last night’s event was pretty much ineffable. As the tribal sounds of Sebjak came to an end, the hankering crowd watched AN21 tout the orchestral sounds of Valodja as the opening for his second show in Sweden of the year. Known as the little brother of Angello, the young earnest, current with a new debut album on Size alongside Max Vangeli, screened just why he’s worthy a placing amongst the top-tier DJ’s across the globe. Serving us up with glimpses of the new Size album, including the yet not previewed Fresh Start, the ever so catchy, new Dirty South take on Skylar Grey and an unkown tune, his outgoing set can be concluded with his well-known liking for infectious basslines, silky synth leads and his vibrant scene character. Following the unprecedented success of the Swedish House Mafia and his beloved Size Records imprint, Steve Angello returned to his fellow Sweden as a home-coming hero of class. Not even named yet, the new mafia single is already a throbbing and essential gem, responded to last night as nothing but with a contagious vibe of eagerness and vividness. As one third of the highly-prosperous Swedish tripod, Angello advocated his established statement, ”Size Matters”, undoubtedly with a full-on, smash night of the ascending house scene. Showing off the all new Alesso and Sebastian Ingrosso single named Calling, the newest tendering from Tim Mason – a remix on Lucid – as well as a well familiar but unknown ID, last night’s high-end show was the biggest I ever saw and a firm enacting of him and his famed record label. Tracklistings for AN21 and Steve Angello can be found after the break.

Sun or rain. It doesn’t really matter when it comes to two of the world’s currently largest House artists serving their fellow natives up with high-class offerings and a full-on show with astounding effects. Like a true Swedish House hero, Axwell brought both sun and his impeccably hand-picked tracks to tout along with the chanting crowd and the flowing champagne sprays. Featuring the new Swedish House Mafia single, Alesso and Sebastian Ingrosso’s forthcoming Calling and the groundbreaking Swedish House Mafia remix of Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall, Where’s The Party? by Carlsberg screened another unprecedented show, tipped with the energic Ax, coming on the heels of their premiere Summer party of the year in Båstad last week. In celebration to his last release, Heart Is King, his innovativeness and stage experience was put to the test yet again as the hotly anticipated Visby week was officially kick started with the sounds of Alesso’s Nillionaire smash. Merely 24 hours after – it was time for the master of melodic house to seize the venue of Kallbadhuset with an on-going dispute concerning his Fade Into Darkness hit in full swing. The Swede that has floored countless of big room venues, sold gold with the release of Seek Bromance and having a squadron of forthcoming mega anthems on his shelves, there is no stopping Stockholm-originated Avicii! The instantly iconic sound of Gregori Klosman has helped establishing himself as the reputed shooting-star from France, well on his way towards the very top. Despite his sound’s lack of immediate commercial appeal, fame and prosperity seem to have had no trouble founding its way to the Parisian. Having just made his very first, prime-time appearance in Pete Tong’s Essential Selection in front of over two million listeners just last weekend, courtesy of the tremendous Stronger remix alongside Chuckie, Klosman has just kicked his streak off as the new Endless single on Fedde Le Grand’s Flamingo Recordings is just around the corner. As the vibrant and vigorous DJ and producer hailing from Paris, Klosman entered club Madison’s in Båstad, Sweden last night as nothing but with a large and dynamic set on his hands. Flipping from The Moment and his take on Sweet Dreams to the Bounce hit and his remix of The Flavour, one could most certainly state a complete satisfaction just from the looks of the tracklisting. Not only did he serve the urging crowd up with his last releases, but also presented us a premier spin of a brand new single of his named Kameha – an offering we most likely will be seeing quite a lot of with its hardhitting trademark and well-shaped breakdown.

Adrian Lux – 21:30 – 23:00
From 2010’s glorious Teenage Crime instalment on Axtone Records to a forthcoming masterpiece, Lux is most certainly prepared to bounce his highly regarded trademarks at Air Festival at the end of July. His wildly demanded gems have been throbbing dance events all around the world since taken under the wing of superstar DJ Axwell last year, which posteriorly led to indenture with the influential Ultra Records. Adrian Lux’s steady runup has been fueled by quite a few smashes along the road, including Strawberry, Can’t Sleep and 2011’s icebreaker hit remix of Bullets alongside Nause and is yet emerging the top as he just recently released a follow-up, Boy, to last year’s Summer anthem. Being requested to remix Daft Punk’s major come-back single, Derezzed, and highly-topical with his stirring rendering of Pnau’s Solid Ground single, this Swede has got quite a few aces up his sleeve as he’s got the essential 2011 contender on the rise named Fire, bringing back the unique voice of Lune aboard.
Adrian Lux feat. Lune – Fire
Style of Eye – 23:00 – 00:30
The superlative Refune representative Style Of Eye has made quite a few stunning appearances lately, riding the wave of positive vibes from his release of Antidote in late 2010, which just recently was remixed by the tech master duo Pleasurekraft. His unique touch and submission to the electronic dance music scene has been a vital piece as he’s currently placed as one of the few producers that have truly fabricated a distinguished sound for themselves. Making recurring appearances on the prestigious record label of Sebastian Ingrosso, most recently the Miami contender, Sexx, and as the tip of the alternative remixer for camp Swedish House Mafia, this Stockholm-based Swede is undoubtedly a prominent weapon for the Swedish export within EDM. Not only did he grace Alex Metric and Steve Angello’s Open Your Eyes original in early May, but reappeared to remix the Swedish House Mafia and their last sing-along anthem, Save The World alongside his compatriot, Carli in June. With the recently fired away Wet / Dry EP under his belt as well, he’s more than ready to serve the crowd in Sundsvall up with a pinch of his exquisite sound.

As the single releases of Animal, Black & Blue and Silvia among others have made several appearances on worldwide television, given prime-time air-time on BBC Radio and other established radio stations as well as being featured in numerous sport games and events, their luscious and rhythmical sound has far beyond a doubt scored themselves a defined and well recognized name in the music industry. Having premiered new offerings from Duck Sauce and Calvin Harris to name a few, Mac is bringing her A-game to the north of Sweden for a one and a half hour of stirring hits.
Fedde Le Grand – 00:30 – 02:00
Since the initial release of Put Your Hands Up For Detroit in late 2006, this Holland DJ and producer has ascended into a firm headliner and festival resident across the globe. His wide vitality and vibrant trademark has established himself as a highly rated icon in the industry and has led to the advancement of his own record label alongside Funkerman, Flamingo Recordings, along with his own, soaring solo career. His faculty as a much-appreciated performer and producer with a sense for catchiness in all its shapes and forms is nowadays well renowned thanks to a serious streak of hits under the Dutchman’s belt, including Metrum and Running as well as a forthcoming remix for David Guetta’s Little Bad Girl on the rise.
