Celebrating the release of the Hollywood remake of the successful Swedish 2009 motion picture, based on one of the many ingriguing books from Stieg Larsson, five festivities are arranged to take place across the globe, whereof one is set to take place in Sweden capital. Also hosting a number of top-class DJ acts, Saturday evening at Ambassadeur in Stockholm, Sweden is certain to be a convivial event.

The line-up – headlined by a DJ set from Miike Snow Sound System, which consists of Christian Karlsson, Pontus Winnberg and Andrew Wyatt from the indie pop group Miike Snow – embraces a widespread variety of different genres and sounds. Founded in 2007, Miike Snow are a trio responsible for a diverse sound and a wide pallette of top notch radio hits like Animal, Black & Blue and Silvia off their self-titled debut album in 2009. Having made appearances on worldwide television, been given prime-time air-time on BBC’s radio channels and other established radio stations as well as being featured in numerous sport games and events, their luscious and rhythmical sound has planted themselves as a sensational act in the music industry. And not only have their outputs become vastly recognized hit singles on the radio, but their onslaught on electronic dance music has made notable impact on clubland over the past couple of years with remix duties from Sebastian Ingrosso & Dirty South, Bart B More, Crookers, DJ Mehdi and more.

Chase & Status, the electronic music duo from London, are also joining in on the string of unique acts coming to Sweden this weekend. With their second album, “No More Idols” out, Will Kennard and Saul Milton have become two of the more influential producers in drum and bass, breakbeat and dubstep lately. Holding a track roster that comprises everything from the intricate sound design of ‘End Credits’, with Plan B, to soothing records like Time, with an amazing vocal from Delilah, Chase & Status are recurringly showing their capability of combining different genres into a spot-on merge.

Noisia, the Dutch trio who recently signed with Deadmau5′ Mau5trap label, are responsible for a dynamic touch to the drum and bass and dubstep scenes. Nik Roos, Martijn van Sonderen and Thijs de Vlieger’s complex and creative take on the elementary dubstep has become their crucial ground-breaker along with recent-times releases on Mau5trap. Despite the fact that they have been around since early 00’s, it’s not until recently the Dutchmen have breached new barriers with the release of Tommy’s Theme, a remix to Deadmau5 and more.

Last but not least, we have Alex Drury, professionally known as Alex Metric, rounding this unique line of eminent electronic music icons off. Primarily known for his infamous collaboration with Steve Angello, titled ‘Open Your Eyes’, and the quite recent remix to Niki & The Dove’s ‘Mother Protect’ which has been a regular in the live sets of the entire camp Swedish House Mafia this year, mainly in a mashup with Afrojack’s ‘Replica’, Metric has become a household name of EMI Music after also having remixed the likes of Depeche Mode, Bloc Party, La Roux, NERD, Phoenix and more.

We are, yet again, honored to have been delegated an exclusive guest list for this event which provides free entry for our fellow followers and readers. All you have to do to sign yourself up is to send your name and age (an age of 18 is required) to info@beatmyday.com and mark the e-mail by ”3 December guest list”. Having made widespread impact on the industry over the past two years, it’s no secret the flourishing ascent of Deniz Koyu knows no boundaries. With the trenchant release of Grunge in early 2010 paving the way for his acknowledged break-through, followed by Lose Control and releases like the remix on My Feeling and Time Of Our Lives, it was on a wave of acclamation 26 year old Koyu entered 2011 uncertain of the peerless triumphs ahead of him. Not only has his filthy yet uplifting offerings dibbled a somewhat accurate image of his musical preferences, but also pioneered a world renowned signature sound and the widely known ability to scoop recognition from the grandest of electronic dance music icons, the Swedish House Mafia, Fedde Le Grand and Tiësto included. Exchanging his long-term indenture with the Scream And Shout label for a successful signing with Flamingo, the record label of Fedde Le Grand and Funkerman, along with the release of Tung! in late June, the now Breda-based Deniz Koyu has become the mastermind responsible from some of 2011’s most prominent club anthems. And with the aforementioned Tung!, Hydra, Hertz, the dynamic remix on James Blunt’s Dangerous alongside Johan Wedel and an upcoming cut of Kaskade’s Turn it Down making up his highly-rated discography thus far, numerous shows back-to-back with Fedde, non-stop traveling and a bundle of forthcoming hits are merely a few of the things awaiting the German in the bright times ahead.

Nextly is the show in the vast halls of Ambassadeur in Stockholm, Sweden on Friday, at the holy digits of 11-11-11.

Standing firmly placed with both feet at the very marrow of clubland after an oustandingly steady rise since 2001, the accomplishments of Ryan Raddon, better known as Kaskade, are nothing short of amazing. As he’s currently preparing to release another artist album, entitled ”Fire & Ice”, there is undoubtedly nothing holding back the Chicago-bred veteran. Although he debuted his first album in 2003, it was not until the indenture with Ultra in 2006 that the ascension of Kaskade truly took off, leading him into a placing amongst modern-day’s most highly-rated DJ’s in terms of electronic dance music. And he has most certainly shown dignity of maintaining a position of such calibre as 2011 has been an utterly fruitful year for the man recently voted America’s Best DJ. Responsible for stainless remixes on Skrillex’s Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites and Daft Punk’s Rinzler and the album count-down releases of Eyes and Turn It Down so far this year, Kaskade emerges the halls of Club Ambassadeur in Stockholm, armed with an armada of unreleased records off his forthcoming double album, for a night to remember.

From the middle eastern sounds of Valodja to the preparations for a forthcoming artist album, AN21 returns to his fellow Sweden as a superstar DJ and producer, hard to equal. Although he kickstarted off his career with the devastating force of Flonko, it was not until 2010’s releases of Gama and Swedish Beauty alongside co-producer Max Vangeli as the young and earnest Antoine met glory and fame with a bang. He’s continuously proven himself worthy of worldwide recognition with a string of high-end remixes for Erick Morillo, Jus Jack and Switchfoot under his belt. Besides busting the charts of Beatport, he and Vangeli are responsible for the highly successful free give-aways of their takes on Starry Eyed and Smack My Bitch Up that have superbly forged his way on becoming the reputable icon he is today. Coming on the heels of his uplifting rework of The Island alongside Steve Angello and Max Vangeli is a new, stirring smash they’ve made out of Swedish House Mafia’s Save The World, as just premiered at Sensation White by its superiors. As the preparations for his and Vangeli’s forthcoming debut album on Size Records named People Of The Night is in full swing, AN21 seizes the venue of Ambassadeur in Sweden capital, bringing along his friend and DJ, Sebjak – a Swede most certainly recognized in the House scene, most recently with his pounding remix of Sharam’s Fun. Following the prosperities of Stockholm’s recently renowned events Summerburst Festival, Pryda Friends and Starphazing night, Ambassadeur opens up for another slamming show, courtesy of two of the industry’s most intriguing DJ’s.
