With heavy support from label head honchos Above & Beyond, London-based newcomer Ilan Bluestone returns to the Anjunabeats imprint with a new original track entitled ‘Sinai’.

A dreamy affair of caressing piano play and blissful peak time energy, ‘Sinai’ sees the young Brit step away from the heavier-set sound that has pervaded his studio output thus far for a euphoric number of long builds and ambiguous vocals.

Audaciously driven and already inaugurated to the melodic stronghold that is Anjunabeats, Connecticut’s Audien is far from your everyday American breakthrough. Back with vengeance to follow-up last August’s ’Eventide‘ EP, Audien kicks off 2013 with his second release for the label, ‘Wayfarer’.

In the same vein that Anjunabeats have continued to evolve with the times without compromising on the upfront quality of their releases, the young American producer finds a considerably comfortable middle-ground between the uplifting properties of Trance and fertile energy of modern Progressive House. Still driven by melodic progressions and full-bodied synth work, Audien sticks to his guns with yet another gem that highlights the essential talent that can still be found outside of Europe and its atypical Progressive House regions.

Still riding on the remnants of his debut on the label back in early August with the ‘Eventide‘ EP, Audien returns to Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats imprint with the equally impressive follow-up release in ‘Wayfarer.’

With a sound scope that drives considerably heavier undertone into the melodic concept, Nate Rathbun balances delicate melodic progressions with a fiery ambient guise of stern chord play throughout this emotive club track. Without a single cheesy vocal sample in earshot, Audien sticks to his guns with yet another creative gem that highlights the essential talent that can still be found outside of Europe and its atypical Progressive House regions.

Out January 14th.

Premiered by Pete Tong on his Essential Selection radio show last night, American Electro advocate Porter Robinson unites with London’s own Mat Zo to unify their developed studio dexterity for ‘Easy’. Off the back of Robinsons’ chart-topping solo offering ‘Language’, his latest collaborative effort fuses Zohar’s aptitude for tightly woven melodic progressions with his own boisterous peak time hallmarks. Providing a well-rounded club track rich in moments of uplifting energy, the first track to formally emerge from Porter’s recent collaborative run sets the precedent to an all-time-high alongside the fast-ascending Anjunabeats favorite.

Due for release soon on Anjunabeats.

Update (24/11): A full stream of the track is now available.

Connecticut’s Nate Rathbun, professionally known as Audien, makes his debut on Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats label to release his latest two-track EP.

But with so much talk about the industrious evolution and mainstream accumulation, Rathbun’s first Anjunabeats release strays far away from the latter and hits the middle-ground between blissful Progressive House and the euphoric Trance sound we have come to associate with the aspiring American. In an effortless mixture of divine melodic progressions and vintage Trance energy, the spiritual vibes of Audien’s ‘Eventide’ and ‘Unity’ cater to the thriving American festival scene while making up a release that has the potential of becoming a landmark for artist and label alike.

Few have taken to the high-profile remix circuit with the same audacity as Finland’s Lenno. Off the back of his Nike approved take on the unsuspecting realms of Hip Hop, the latest single of British Trance pioneers Above & Beyond are the next notch on the 17-year-old producer’s dynamic musical accession.

Taken from the trio’s third artist album, the familiar vocal stylings of Richard Bedford prove a strong basis for the young producer to drive a firm backbone of chugging Progressive chord play into the heart of the heartrending original. Despite being somewhat safer than his previous remix duties for the likes of Gracias and Foster The People, Lenno’s clean cut take on the otherwise textbook original is a sure sign that given the standard of his remix duties of late, the future is sure to be a bright one for this fast rising European talent.

Since breaking through with his remix of Foster The People last year, 17-year-old Finnish prodigy Lenno’s familiarity with high-profile remix duties has seen his eclectic studio stylings become one of the industrys more valued assets of late. Off the back from a splendid, Nike-approved take on hip hop-oriented Gracias’ ‘40k Volts‘, Lenno takes on a single off trance pioneers Above & Beyond’s third studio album for his first and probably not last installment on Anjunabeats. While borrowing some elements from the original, the Espoo resident brings the tempo down to create an equally impressive remodelled instrumental to complement Richard Bedford’s apt vocal line well throughout.

The Lenno remix is set to be released on July 9.

For all the positive surges in Russia’s fast-developing EDM scene, few have touched on the youthful exuberance of Engel’s own Arty. Amid his globetrotting festival appearances and contributions to Axtone and Anjunabeats alike, the young euphoric heavyweight returns to the renowned imprint of Above and Beyond to extend his reign with ‘Open Space’.

Still packed with the divine and deep melodic hallmarks that have characterised his untimely accession to the ranks of MTV approved Progressive pundit, ‘Open Space’ provides a coarse and grinding sound scope that still manages to build upon the euphoric grounds he has championed for well-over two years now. Without selling himself short amid the current heat of the industry’s most sought-after season, the explosive talent retains his title as one of the more extensively consistent producers to emerge from Russia.

Following on from the slight digression that was his Axtone debut ‘Trio‘ alongside Matisse & Sadko, Russian tune monger Artem Stolyarov, professionally known as Arty, returns to Anjunabeats and the sound that fortified him as an essential contributor to the scene in the first place. Reminiscent of his previous Anjunabeats efforts ‘Mozart‘ and ‘Around The World‘, ‘Open Space’ blends blistering chords with his unique and anthemic sound for what is looking to become another belter to his name. Despite being more trance-oriented than his more recent offerings, ‘Open Space’ remains as well-crafted as it is relevant to the modern ”house” music scene.

‘Open Space’ will be released on June 18.

Blue-eyed Anjunabeats ward Mat Zo has barely parted from the affirmative imprint of Above & Beyond as far as his tectonic studio output is concerned. Already partially unlashed within the labels 9th annual compilation, the London based producer’s forthcoming Bipolar EP promises to extend the already stellar run of impassioned club stirrers for 2012. Where artistically distorted A-Side ‘Bipolar’ tactfully encapsulates the atypical Progressive House anthem with pitch-perfect resonance, ‘It’s Yours’ transitions from silky smooth chord play to a contentious ensemble of emotively charged chord play that accompanies its well-tuned backbone with exemplary Mat Zo mannerisms. Transitioning from A to B with distinct dexterity and a sense of biotic maturity, Zo veers from the crowd with a consistency that none have come to hold as firmly as this new age Progressive House master.
