Having reached utmost eminence with the release of Barbra Streisand in late 2010, A-Trak and Armand Van Helden team up as the experimental duo outfit, Duck Sauce to present the follow-up to last year’s major. Much alike Barbra Streisand, Big Bad Wolf is a distinguished and catchy submission to the industry, certain to bring fame to the New York-stationed duo whose offerings have been getting peerless recognition from all across the globe. They’ve earlier aimed for worldwide domination within the modern disco scene and as many producers have been following in their footprints lately, the duo has decided to reclaim pole position with another joint for the out-and-out fans of the more experimental touch of electronic music. As premiered by Annie Mac in her weekly show on BBC Radio 1, the chunky and bumpy beats of Big Bad Wolf are now out via English-based 3Beat Records!

Another day of great releases! Seems like the expected Masquerade EP, signed by Size Records wasn’t released today, has anyone got any news of why? Anyhow, check out these massive releases!
First off, a huge pack of remixes of Estelle’s beautiful track Fall In Love. Many remixes to choose from, my favourites are the two collab remixes; the Axel Bauer & Lanford remix and the outstanding remix from Carl Louis & Martin Danielle, smashing!
Supported and played by the Swedish House Mafia members is this track called What’s Up, made in a collaboration between Alex Kenji & Thomas Gold, really cool mix with tech-house sound and a bouncing beat, love it! Signed and released by Spinnin Records.
This is exactly what I would expect from these two talents! An Armand Van Helden track with a touch of Steve Aoki. It’s called Brrrat! and is presented together with two remixes, nothing beats the original though, get your copy of this one!
Tech-house release from Poussez. Six tracks in one EP, unfortunately there’s only one of them which is good, and that one is amazing! Futuric tech sound, the favourite is Glad I Ate Her, check it out!

Australian house specialists the Stafford Brothers are back, this time teaming up with Jason Herd for another bigroom club weapon. Can’t Stop What We Started is a feel good house gem and another gold star performance for both the Stafford Brothers and Jason Herd. The infectious vocals on this record come courtesy of Ollie James who you may recognise as the voice from smash hits such as Supermode’s Tell Me Why. Armand Van Helden’s New York City Beat and more. Full release contains Swanky Tunes Remix, Stafford Brothers & Jason Herd Festival Mix (Featured in the teaser above) along with the Original. It will be released on Beatport the 9th of September through Hussle Recordings. Enjoy!
Yesterday it was once again time for this weeks essential mix made by Pete Tong over at BBC Radio 1! I wasn’t able to listen to it myself but there are some heavy tunes in this mix! Eric Prydz remix of Felix da Housecat – Thee Anthem was played aswell as Pryda – The End. This week’s essential new tune is a Armand Van Helden remix which shows off some new disco house beats, sounds great! Take a listen and enjoy some great house music!
