As evenly impressive as their debut appearance on the record label of Tiësto, Marlon Flohr and Ralph van Hilst, who combined make up the Dutch Bassjackers duo, give a taste of their return to the Musical Freedom imprint, for which they have remixed the label honcho’s mighty Maximal Crazy single. Joining in alongside the monstrous R3hab and Swanky Tunes remix, the Holland-raised pair currently based in Amsterdam have undoubtedly made themselves worthy of firmly planting their name on the list of DJ’s and producers to watch soar in near future. Coming back from a remix on Dada Life’s White Noise / Red Meat, the underestimated take on Kid Massive and Peyton’s A Little Louder and an EP on Wall Recordings, Bassjackers follow up their essential set anthem, Mush Mush, with the dark, distorted sounds in conjunction with killer baselines making up the second installment on one of electronic dance music’s most influential record labels to date. Also support by the likes of David Guetta, whom was recently voted the world’s number one in DJ Mag’s Top 100 poll, this one is due out October 26th.
Kid Massive presents us his contender for this year’s Summer events, graced with a sensitive vocal from Peyton. Following the recognized rework of Music Sounds Better With You in late 2010, A Little Louder is a catchy tune, ready to climb the charts. With a stunning package of remixes on board as well, this new release on Transmissions Recordings is headlined by a remix from TV Rock – an Australian duo which has been getting quite some recognition lately, most recently for the Flamingo single alongside Hook N Sling and Rudy named Diamonds In The Sky. The remixers list, crammed with talent, also consists of the producers behind the new Musical Freedom anthem Mush Mush, Bassjackers, as well as some serious joints from Budapest duo Muzzaik and France’s earnest Damian William!
Fresh off the heels of Afrojack and Quintino’s smashing single, Selecta, on the label, Dutch talents Bassjackers and Apster – whom all most recently have been topical with releases on Mixmash and Musical Freedom, are now unleashing their innovative EP on Wall Recordings. Headlined by a crossover tune of dubstep and Dutch house in Brougham which pretty much continues into the second half of the package – Contour, a classic Dutch house structurized tune with the glorious breakdown emerging a twisted drop.
Following the remix of Dada Life, the talented Dutch duo Bassjackers returns to instal themselves on Tiesto’s prestigious Musical Freedom imprint. Going on the heels of Tiesto’s collab single with Hardwell – Zero 76, Bassjackers’ Mush Mush single is representing the record label’s third instalment. Going from trance-inspired synth lines to a pinch of slamming Dutch house, this tune is definitely worthy of recognition.
