While the Alive original and the Tommy Trash remix alike have garnered support from the very créme de la créme of Electronic Dance music, this Dirty South and Thomas Gold-favoured fan remix on behalf of Polish duo Blinders comes in a better time than any. With its follow-up, entitled Eyes Wide Open, having seen a recent premiere on Pete Tong and looking to release in less than two weeks, Alive continues to show no signs of descent as the pair primarily recognized for last year’s Summer contender So High alongside Bream and Max C come out with their official take to potentially kickstart proceedings for bright times ahead. As the original has been testamented to being something of a pioneer for a distinct face of progressive House, Blinders further build on this certified reputation with a set of outrightly massive lead play and large kicks to spot on complement the unique and silky voice of Kate Elsworth.
