Already attributed to a slew of heavyset club offerings for 2012, rising Dim Mak regulars Josh Anaya and Angelo Patino-Patroni, better known to the world as PeaceTreaty, follow up latest single ‘In Time’ alongside Anabel Englund with a free giveaway of their remix for Hot Mouth’s ‘Totally Worth It‘. In a bid to continue to pursue his career outside of LA Riots as Hot Mouth, the aftermath of his remix of ‘French Rules‘ sees Jon Pegnato present further testament to his eccentric take on Electro House. Teaming up with The Veldt-vocalist Chris James, Los Angeles based Pegnato brings proceedings to Chris Lake’s Rising Music yet again to follow up his two track ”Habits EP” with the release of ‘Totally Worth It’ along with a groove induced remix from Federico Scavo.

Already brandishing heavy support from the likes of Fedde le Grand amongst others, Pegnato’s production proficiency gracefully ornaments Chris James’ soulful voice with twisted chords and wobbly bass to wet your appetite ahead of the still eagerly awaited release of his collaboration alongside Chris Lake, Nom De Strip and Good Charlotte-vocalist Benjamin Madden.

Having dropped the 8 minute version back in early May, the release of the ”The Veldt EP” sees the illustious Canadian Deadmau5 come out with the full 12 minute edit of his deeply melodic concoction alongside Chris James. Based upon the late American fantasy writer Ray Bradbury’s ‘The Veldt’, imagination truly surpasses fashion for this emotively tuned journey of blissful Electronic manoeuvres.

But where the extended edit completes the original with the addition of mysterious yet aptly arranged drum work, highly-rated Aussie Tommy Trash adds some oomph to the euphoric track for an already widely acclaimed interpretation. Built around the original’s unremitting chord progression and talented singer-songwriter Chris James’ expertly tailored top line for his quite possibly biggest remix to date, Thomas Olsen’s take on ‘The Veldt’ is not one to be compared to the original, but rather seen as an alternative version for clubs and stadiums alike.

Having racked up an impressive 1,2 million plays on the original since it’s premiere on Pete Tong a few weeks back, Deadmau5’s return to melodic Progressive House for ‘The Veldt‘ may very well be one of his cleverest moves thus far. That being said, the accompanying remix package was never going to be less impressive.

Not a stranger to high-end remix duties, Australia’s very own Tommy Trash returns to Mau5trap Recordings after being featured on Moguai’s recent artist album for his possibly biggest remix to date. Borrowing the original’s unremitting chord progression and up-and-coming vocalist Chris James’ downright divine top line for something of a signature remix on the rapidly rising Aussie’s behalf, Thomas Olsen’s take on ‘The Veldt’ is not one to be compared to the original, but rather seen as an alternative version for clubs and stadiums alike.

The Tommy Trash remix of ‘The Veldt’ will be released on June 24 through Mau5trap.

Joel Zimmerman has never been one for convention. Already associated with technical Electro House cuts and mouse heads of assorted technological advances, his Pete Tong premiered new single opens yet more creative boundaries under the illustrious Deadmau5 moniker. Stumbling upon up and coming vocal talent Chris James on Twitter, ‘The Veldt’ pits his divine top line against a host of deeply melodic progressions and ambient leads.

Based upon American fantasy writer Ray Bradbury’s ‘The Veldt’, imagination truly surpasses fashion for this emotively tuned journey of blissful Electronic manoeuvres. Those who thought they had Deadmau5 figured out are sure to be pleasantly surprised by this collection of beautiful and intimate digressions from a force still to be reckoned with in global Dance music.
