Following 2009’s remix for ‘12 Wives In Teheran’, David Tort dons his sharp sound to another hit from the hands of Serge Devant. Armed with a crunching electro sound, the mesmerizing vocals of Coyle Girelli and uplifting overtones, the Barcelona producer rounds the proceedings of his 2011 off gracefully with his second ever remix on the Ultra Records-signed Brooklyn-based Devant. Returning from a wide pallette of David Tort trademarks such as One Look for Axtone, the mysteriously smashing Jack It Up for Size and hard-lined remixes of Henrik B’s Acid Rocker and Norman Doray’s Kalifornia, makes his second appearance on the influential Ultra imprint. And obviously having quite a few pots in the oven for release next year, there is certainly no arguing with Tort’s establishment as one of Spain’s finest House music exports.

Fresh off the release of his hammering cut on Norman Doray’s disco original of Kalifornia, the impressive crusade of Spain’s finest manfacturer of club-adapted House music continues as he brings up Martin Volt and Le Que’s brand-new Secrets Behind A Fact single through his The Mansion Recordings, fronted by a rework on behalf of Tort himself. With the gorgeous One Look release on Axtone Records still paving the way for prosperity and recognition for the Barcelona residing producer, Tort follows up his take on Henrik B’s Acid Rocker with another example of his sheer signature sound. Taking on the Dutch co-producers recently responsible for remixes on Ticket To The Sky and Dev’s In The Dark, the Spaniard continues to make impact on clubland after his splendid Jack It Up and School Of 88 singles.
