Sandy Rivera, by all accounts, has mastered the realms of warm and traditional house music. Under the guise of Kings Of Tomorrow, his time at the helm of soulful house music has mustered a rather loyal following for his studio output, while recurrent releases for Defected Records have kept his legacy well and truly alive.

Summoning the unique silvery of vocal piece April, Rivera returns after the hustle and bustle of the Miami season with a Defected release that sets itself apart from the crowd with a heavy dose of effortlessness and soul. Say what you will about the current state of dance music, but the ‘Fall For You’ EP suggests that some sounds will never slip off the radar.

With a track record for fine House offerings that spans well over a decade, UK duo Copyright returns to the forefront of funky House stylings with a new release for the final leg of 2012. Joining the esteemed Defected imprint of Simon Dunmore once again, Copyright hits back with a new original track to keep us warm throughout this cold winter in the form of ‘Lifted’. Without overstepping the warm characteristics that the duo’s lead play and Andre Espeut’s soulful vocals so seamlessly builds throughout the track, the UK House asset brings a positive shade of character to the often overlooked realms of soft and bouncy club music.

Ever since ‘Finally’ established itself as the don of all Balearic club anthems, Sandy Rivera’s Kings of Tomorrow project has continued to inspire awe for the realms of deep and melodic House. But having comfortably executed a strong summer contender in ‘Show Me‘ earlier this year, Rivera returns to Defected to release the follow-up, entitled ‘Let Me Tell You Something’.

Where Rivera’s own A-side mix plunges deep into the deep and bass-heavy House stylings that we have come to associate with his Kings Of Tomorrow moniker, the B-side sees him bring aboard Warsaw DJ Claudia Castel for an alternative remix of vintage synths and dark grooves throughout.
