Where Electro has taken some chops and turns since its European forefathers stepped in, France’s Fred Falke has had no trouble staying afloat amid his traditional take on the genre. Off that back of last years IV album, Falke emerges with his sights on Grammy Award-winning British House trio Dirty Vegas. Taken from their latest album Electronic Love, the track proves a promising cue point for the French Electro don to unleash his characteristically sharp studio dexterity with little disorientation. Pitching sharp disco leads against warm vintage synths, Steve Smith’s emotive vocal assets make for a sterling accompaniment to Falke at his more soulful heights. Bringing an air of slick and sophisticated club grooves to the somewhat raw original, this remix emerges as traditional as it is powerful, topping the remix package with succinct power.
