With a track record for fine House offerings, Uruguayan groove smith Gabriel Rocha, better known to the world as DJ PP, is back to follow up ‘Bango’, his collaborative effort alongside Marco Lys, with a new solo release for his own PPMUSIC imprint.

Rallying the rhythmic precision and the Balearic vibes that have played as the soundtrack to his ascent, ‘Lovers’ sees Rocha add yet another infectious original to his arsenal enroute to Miami Music Week 2013.

Out now on Beatport.

Uruguayan groove maestro DJ PP makes his return to Hotfingers Music to aid Melbourne producer Silversix’s inauguration to the label with their new single, ‘House That’.

Rife with a double-barrelled onslaught of warm House grooves and funk infused trumpets, the carneval-esque focus of ‘House That’ marks a move to the funkier sounds that the post-summer season beckons. Aptly tailored around its infectious trumpet work and firm leads, this is a solid gem of the good time vibes that have been all too commonly overlooked amid the Dance explosion.

Given the time and progress that has ensued since Deadmau5 dropped his remix of Billy Newton-Davis’s ‘All U Ever Want’, some 2012 remodels for expanding spectrum of Dance music was always going to muster some considerable attention. But with unpretentious stamina and his funky persona at hand DJ PPJerome Robins and MAM set forth to give the classic Deadmau5 manipulation two funky twists for Play Records. Rife with strong filtered beats, deep bass and ascending synth leads, the dexterous trio prove more than apt to extend the shelf life of one of many gems from Joel Zimmerman’s prestigious back catalogue well-before the hysteria that now ensues his mouse-headed moniker.

The Uruguay-bred Gabriel Rocha, better known as DJ PP, combines forces with one of Italy’s many prominent tech specialists, Federico Scavo, for the newest release out from Mark Knight’s Toolroom Records. Coming off the recent and absolute storming release of their Amsterdam Dance Event 2011 compilation, featuring a total of 10 unreleased pieces, the influential Toolroom imprint comes out with a brand-new, top notch offering from the aforementioned two.
