Off the back of the hotly tipped ‘Bango’ with Prok & Fitch earlier this year, Marco Lys makes his way back to Great Stuff Recordings and the realms of straight-laced grooves with ‘The Underground’ alongside Michael Gray.
In addition to the hypnotic samples, concise rhythmic persuasions and acid-esque sound that pervade the original version, the release also includes a remix from Federico Scavo who gives the track a considerably thicker feel. In a genre that is too often dismissed as back-to-back beat tracks, Lys and Gray provide a release that instils a strong degree of enthusiastic energy for tech house music.

As the Italian House scene continues to engulf the Dance music industry, Federico Scavo is joined by fellow countryman NDKj for a new original release on Alex Kenji, Manuel De La Mare and Luigi Rocca’s Hotfingers Music. Pitting subtle keys and instrumental samples against the familiar House grooves that the duo have continuously mastered, ‘Freak’ sets in motion the anticipation of the Miami season courtesy of it’s simple yet stirring key work and groovy percussive swings.

As the Italian House scene continues to engulf the globe, Fucecchio asset Federico Scavo returns to Hotfingers Music for a much-needed injection of unpretentious House in ‘Ride Like The Wind’.
Blending subtle keys, instrumental samples and the familiar grooves Scavo has continuously perfected, ‘Ride Like The Wind’ may not be his best work to date, but what it lacks in overall energy, it makes up for in solid production values and infectious lead play. Armed with his groove-induced sound, Scavo’s latest release marks a digression from the wobbles and grinding Electro that are doing the rounds and replaces it with the sun kissed groves that are sure to fuel the post-summer season.
In a bid to continue to pursue his career outside of LA Riots as Hot Mouth, the aftermath of his remix of ‘French Rules‘ sees Jon Pegnato present further testament to his eccentric take on Electro House. Teaming up with The Veldt-vocalist Chris James, Los Angeles based Pegnato brings proceedings to Chris Lake’s Rising Music yet again to follow up his two track “Habits EP” with the release of ‘Totally Worth It’ along with a groove induced remix from Federico Scavo.
Already brandishing heavy support from the likes of Fedde le Grand amongst others, Pegnato’s production proficiency gracefully ornaments Chris James’ soulful voice with twisted chords and wobbly bass to wet your appetite ahead of the still eagerly awaited release of his collaboration alongside Chris Lake, Nom De Strip and Good Charlotte-vocalist Benjamin Madden.
As the Italian House scene continues to engulf vast shores and clubs alike, 303 ring leader Alex Kenji is joined by fellow countryman Federico Scavo for a much-needed injection of unpretentious European club fuel. Pitting subtle keys and instrumental samples against the familiar House grooves this duo have continuously perfected, ‘The Funk Is Alive’ certainly isn’t the duos funkiest endeavour to date, but what it lacks in overall energy it makes up for in solid production values and infectious lead play throughout. Having scaled the globe with a sound as distinct as Kenji’s, this collaborative effort beckons a digression from the atypical Progressive House anthems that are doing the rounds and replaces it with the sun kissed groves that are sure to fuel the approaching summer season.

After having successfully dropped Back To The Dancefloor in late 2010 installing himself a seventh time on Joia Records, John Dahlback and his bubbling record returns, this time to PinkStar Records in the shape of a massive remix package shedded by brilliance from all around the globe. Headlining this one is the amazing remix from the Netherlands, more precisely, Disfunktion gracing the fairly dark original with a pinch of their unique synth lines. Hailing all the way from Columbia is the second and final one, made by Robert Alzate Pasos a.k.a Halbro with a bit punchier sound of a record! Fairly inspired by the rhythms of Dutch house, the Italian Frederico Scavo delivers a cool touch of squeeking sounds interacting with that genuine bassline.
