Having already teased fans with earlier renditions, Norwegian progressive asset Fehrplay releases his fourth single for Eric Prydz’s Pryda Friends imprint following the release of “I Cant Stop It”.

Premiered in its latest form during his guest mix for Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy radio show, “Phantom” employs strong melodic builds alongside a juxtaposition of decadent keys and uplifting synth work. Balancing the outspoken euphoria and compositional aptitude that has hallmarked his creative output so far, “Phantom” sets the precedent for what looks to be one of Fehrplay’s most triumphant years to date.

Already celebrated for his melodic reign upon global Dance music, Norwegian producer Ferhplay rejoins the stronghold of Eric Prydz’s Pryda Friends imprint to flaunt his latest journey into the realms of emotionally tuned club fuel.

First premiered on Eric Prydz’s EPIC Radio, the vintage hallmarks usually heralded by Prydz have evidently aligned well with his London based protégé. Armed with soaring melodic synth lines and an undercurrent of stern lead work, the sample work of ‘I Can’t Stop It’ ornaments a track as aurally stimulating as its is infectious.

Out today on Beatport.

There is much that can be said about the current state of the majority of mixes hitting the interweb on a daily basis. But never one to conform to the norm, newfound Eric Prydz protégé Fehrplay comes out with a well mixed, hour-long mix in hopes of setting the record straight with feel-good vibes and beautiful melodies throughout. Showcasing tracks from the Pryda camp, Scuba, Michael Cassette, AN21 and Max Vangeli among others, Fehrplay’s December mix rounds out 2012 with a creative blend of old and new.

With a steadily rising output of strong floor-orientated contenders, the next Pryda Friends release from Fehrplay sees him emerge armed with the melodic resonance of Pryda to present a take on some of the more heartfelt influences available to modern Dance music.

Effortlessly balancing deep rerunning vocals and the vintage charm that Pryda Friends has become synonymous with, the EPIC Radio-premiered ‘I Can’t Stop It’ encapsulates the once spiritual energy of the White Isle without compromising on 21st century production values. With the final version of the track yet to come and set to join Eric Prydz for his going-away party at Berns in Stockholm next weekend, the remainder of 2012 is unlikely to be a quiet one if this Norwegian producer has his way.

Update (21/12): Out January 14th.

In one of his most energizing years of industrious wanderings to date, Swedish master of the melodic anthem Eric Prydz is yet to rest on his well-oiled laurels. Like the mad professor of inventive Dance music, his first single release since his debut Pryda album sees Prydz sample a John Ciafone track from 2002 with the same name for ‘Every Day’, previously known to fans as the sought-after ‘Bootshaus ID’. In a surge of his atmospheric energy, the stern emphasis on melodic progressions and vintage charisma marks an exciting extension of the uplifting club hallmarks that have seen Eric Prydz reign supreme over the past several years.

But first to bat for the remix package, Pryda Friends-endorsed Norwegian Fehrplay swaps the original’s blissful melodic play for a refreshing, bass-heavy sound, eerily similar to that of ‘Nightride‘. Hitting the middle-ground between heavier-set Deep House and dark Progressive, Fehrplay’s remix proves a worthy and fitting addition to the package, choosing to chop Ciafone’s vocals into a dark and hypnotic formula.

The ‘Every Day’ EP is released November 5th, also including a remix from Andy C and ‘We Are Mirage’.

As just premiered on Pete Tong’s Essential Selection, Pryda Friends endorsed Fehrplay unveils his remix of fellow mentor and label head honcho Eric Prydz’s next single, ‘Every Day‘.

Swapping Prydz’s infectious melodic play for a refreshing, bass-heavy sound, the Norwegian producer goes in the same vein as his recent second release on the label in ‘Nightride‘ for a worthy and fitting alternative instrumental to complement John Ciafone’s delightful vocals. Hitting the perfect middle-ground between heavier-set Deep House and dark Progressive, Fehrplay’s remix of ‘Every Day’ is the next notch in his ongoing quest to prove why traditional House is still worth pursuing amid the somewhat stateside biased 21st century Electronic music explosion.

Out October 15th.

Off the back of a back-to-back performance alongside the dignified melodic maestro at Ibiza’s Café Mambo, Pryda Friends’ second homegrown artist Fehrplay returns to Eric Prydz’s guest artist label to release the EPIC Radio-premiered follow-up to ‘Incognito‘.

Diving deep into the realms of Deep House, the aptly titled ‘Nightride’ rips through lush low-end riffage and rerunning vocal samples that showcase a progression away from the heavy-hitting sounds of ‘Incognito’. In a further emphasis on the strong Scandinavian culture currently dominating the industry, ‘Nightride’ sees the Norwegian newcomer escape the unremitting melodics now synonymous with his Fehrplay moniker for an intense take on the deeper realms of House music.

Off the back of a back-to-back performance alongside the dignified melodic maestro at Ibiza’s Café Mambo last week, Pryda Friends’ second homegrown artist Fehrplay returns to Eric Prydz’s guest artist label to officially unveil the EPIC Radio-premiered follow-up to ‘Incognito‘.

Diving deep into the realms of Deep House, the aptly titled ‘Nightride’ rips through lush low-end riffage and infectious rerunning vocal samples that showcase a progression away from the heavy-hitting sounds of ‘Incognito’ in a further emphasis on the strong Scandinavian culture currently dominating the industry. Set to headline his forthcoming second two-track EP for the label, ‘Nightride’ sees the Norwegian newcomer escape the unremitting melodics now synonymous with his Fehrplay moniker for an intense take on the deeper realms of House music.

‘Nightride’ will be released September 24 on Pryda Friends.

There is a notable trend of European visionaries finding their musical apex amid the hustle and bustle of London. Where Eric Prydz invariably found his musical peak in the aforementioned home from home, Pryda Friends’ second home grown artist Fehrplay seems set to make the same distinct noise with label debut EP ‘Incognito’.

Leading with the same creative stamina as that of the labels more favoured melodic anthems, the Norwegian newcomer leads with quality over familiarity for his moment of clarity on the global spectrum. Diving erratically through layered leads and atmospheric surges, there is a tactful element of skill to the young producer that wholeheartedly justifies his inauguration to the same space on the airwaves as Sweden’s awoken club visionary turned heavy-set enthusiast of this newfound talent.
