Finland’s new kid on the block Anton Sonin, also known as Lovetone, may not posses the hallmarks of a household name just yet, but his indefinite explosion to life comes with perceptive force. Joining the ranks of Dutch imprint Flamingo Recordings, his latest efforts may well be the tipping point for this young and restless producer from the Baltic shores. Rallying a very Fedde Le Grand-esque sound of sweeping properties and rising sirens, Sonin would struggle to create a more promising first release on the label than ‘Detonate’.

Out May 20th.

Fresh off the release of ‘Long Way From Home’ alongside Sultan and Ned Shepard, Dutch heavyweight Fedde Le Grand is back with a slamming, new record in the form of ‘Rockin’ N’ Rollin”. Tried and tested at Ultra Music Festival in Miami last month, ‘Rockin’ N’ Rollin’ sees the Dutch DJ and producer turn his back to the heavier side of dance music. Decked in whirling synths, pulsing beat work and the usual twists and turns of a Fedde Le Grand-branded production, ‘Rockin’ N’ Rollin” looks to cater for the bigger sound systems that the global festival overhaul has made so readily available to artists new and old of late.

Slated for release April 22nd through Flamingo Recordings..

Hot on the heels from the hotly discussed Generation Wild Tour across the U.S. alongside Deniz Koyu, Mikael Weermets and Danny Avila, New York’s dBerrie returns to Fedde Le Grand and Funkerman’s Flamingo Recordings for his third release on the label in ‘Zenith’.

Already boasting the seal of approval from David Guetta, ‘Zenith’ digresses from the synth-laden sound scope that has pervaded his two previous Flamingo releases for a hard-hitting track of glitchy and grainy Electro House.

Following up on 2011’s ‘Running’ alongside vocalist Mitch Crown, Dutch heavyweight Fedde le Grand reunites with Canadian duo Sultan and Ned Shepard to officially release their next collaborative effort, ‘Long Way From Home’.

From anthemic synths and ‘Funky Vodka’-like segments of resonant guitar riffs and ambiguous vocals right through to its launch into chugging Electro, this official anthem for their on-going pre-Miami tour across the U.S. sets a high precedent for the rest of 2013 for this Dutch-Canadian trio.

Holland’s Roul and Doors follow-up 2012’s “Elements” alongside Franky Rizardo for Revealed Recordings with their first release of 2013 for Flamingo Recordings entitled “Melody in Harmony”. Always found pursuing the trail of tribalesque house with a peak time twist, the duo’s fusion of ethnic grooves and scattered leads pits a harmonious middle-ground between their earlier work for Defected and the big room capabilities now readily available to their experimental sound. With a host of solo and collaborative landmarks already in the pipeline for 2013, Roul and Doors remain an eclectic mark of hope on the Dutch house skyline.

Continuing to crank out quality releases, Australian duo Denzal Park follow up ‘Scorpio’ with their second release on Fedde Le Grand and Funkerman’s Flamingo Recordings in the form of ‘Yarl.’

Turning their head to the darker terrains of Dance music yet again, ‘Yarl’ laces sterling acid drops and melodic, dubstep-oriented breakdown segments. Having managed to maintain a high level of both quality and quantity throughout 2012, and if ‘Yarl’ is any indication, 2013 doesn’t appear to become any less successful for the highly underrated pair from down-under.

Out January 21st on Neon and Flamingo.

Germany’s Jewelz and Scott Sparks return to Flamingo Recordings to follow-up their powerful label debut ‘Toxic Rush‘ with ‘Flashbang’.

Premiered by Fedde himself during his set at Sensation Wicked Wonderland in Istanbul, ‘Flashbang’ looks to cater for the bigger sound systems that the global festival overhaul has made so readily available to artists new and old of late. Chugging and churning with low-end riffage and mechanical beats throughout, this minimalistic peak time track proves that persuasive club fuel need not bow to the more obvious hallmarks that the global Dance explosion has consistently mustered. While they may have missed the festival season by several months, Jewelz and Scott Sparks look to be a force of significant promise for the New Year with the mark of quality on the front of European Dance music.

Among the often cheesy European assets and mainstream movements of House music, Holland’s Gabriel & Castellon have kept it as pure and accessible as possible. Making their Flamingo Recordings debut with the release of ‘Oompa Loompa’, the Dutch duo comes with their sights set on the groovy Tech House that they have become synonymous with.

Also made up of distinct rerunning vocal loops and the rhythmic precision and delicate builds to which they can well call their speciality, ‘Oompa Loompa’ is as chunky and rhythmically refined as you would expect from this Tech House outfit.
