Adding to the momentum of the success stemming from their well-oiled House interpretation of Tiësto’s Lethal Industry in late 2011, Dutch duo Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano kick the new year off by giving the newest Ferry Corsten single a dose of their universal production qualities. Whilst the original is due to see itself becoming Corsten’s inaugural release for 2012 with its hard-lined, trance oriented appeal and a mighty vocal on behalf of up-and-coming, Sheffield-based singer Ben Hague, the James and Marciano take reflects upon a dynamic synth progression, momentous pitchbends and a memorable, acid-influenced drop to potentially set the standard for this Dutch pair’s music outlet in 2012 high.

Stemming from the label responsible for treating us with Arty’s highly-supported remix for ‘Punk’, Rafaël Frost’s new single, In The Air, is one for the books. With its outright appeal deriving from the soulful trance lead, In The Air is an essential heart warmer for the Europe’s cold times ahead. Speaking of the powerhouse of man, Frost, whose resident city has become the marrow of the club music scene due to the its soaring reputation and significance along with the establishment of the Amsterdam Dance Event, and his newest offering represents the musical counterpart to the vivid beat of the heart with its vibrant structure, powerful kicks and a heavenly synth lines accommodated in a way to affect the grandest of icons. Indeed, it does certainly seem atleast Holland-based trance frontier Ferry Corsten was head over heels for this one as ‘In The Air’ saw a signing with Corsten’s Flashover Recordings that has now lead to its final release.
