Following his debut on the label with ‘Jumbo’ as part of the Galantis outfit, Swedish genre-bender Carli Löf returns to A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold Records for his first solo release on the label in the form of ‘Look Up’.

Jumping between vintage synth work, sinewy female vocals and grind-heavy drops, ‘Look Up’ continues Carli’s onslaught of unpretentious peak-time gems with a track that veers between futuristic and the more traditional sounds of synth-led House music.

As featured in the official recap video of HARD Day Of The Dead in downtown Los Angeles last month, inspiring LA duo Oliver preview a new original track called ‘MYB’.

Having comfortably executed their debut on the label in A-Trak collaboration ‘Disco Nap’ for the ‘Tuna Melt EP‘, the duo returns to Fool’s Gold Records to unveil the first track from their new EP coming out in early 2013. Outside of his part in whacky House tag-team Duck Sauce, Montreal’s A-Trak is not only the DJ’s DJ, but an impressively outgoing asset of musical differentiation. Joined by Tommy Trash, GTA, Galantis, and Oliver, Alain Macklovitch follows up his remix of ‘Misunderstanding‘ with a diverse four-track EP titled ‘Tuna Melt’.

With a sound scope ranging from the chugging chord play of title track ‘Tuna Melt’ to the trap stylings of ‘Landline’ to the pitch-defying leads and burly low-end riffage of ‘Jumbo’ and ‘Disco Nap’, the ‘Tuna Melt’ EP marks not only a collection of some of the most interesting collaborations of late, but an unorthodox shot of hope for the dance music scene.

Celebrating by far his loudest year on the beat with his usual guise of originality, Australian Electro monger Tommy Trash follows-up his recent debuts for Axtone and Refune alike with the long awaited solo outing ‘Truffle Pig’.

Premiered by David Guetta earlier this Fall, his latest studio venture brings together a coherent fusion of chunky beats, French touch filters and the grinding lead work that Tommy has consistently wielded throughout his recording career. With forthcoming collaborative duties alongside Albin Myers and A-Trak still to be released and gleaming reputation for dance floor deliverance behind him, Tommy drops the meat headed fuzz factor to prove that there is still creative integrity found within the realms of peak time festival fuel.

With a wealth of positivity surrounding the Dance music industry’s universal union, Montreal’s A-Trak Australian fuzz-master Tommy Trash combine forces for a fine testament to their respective flexible production skills in ‘Tuna Melt’.

With 2012 already shaping up to be the year he shakes things up, Thomas Olsen’s follow-up to potent Fool’s Gold debut single ‘Truffle Pig‘ alongside label head A-Trak sees the cross-nation duo score an original in the name of forward-thinking Dance music. Leaping from segments of soothing melodies and a playful top line to Trash’s signature chugging chord play, the infectious rerunning vocal samples and grinding synth work of ‘Tuna Melt’ indicates that Dance music need not be as predictable as the vast majority has made it.

Update (12/11): Out December 4th on Fool’s Gold Records as part of a four-track EP with the same name.

As premiered on David Guetta’s DJ Mix earlier this month and played by Steve Angello, Aussie globetrotter Tommy Trash returns to the forefront of forward-thinking club music to present his latest original work, entitled ‘Truffle Pig’.

With a soundscope somewhere between the chunky beats of Deadmau5, modern French touch and the grinding properties of Trash’s signature Electro stylings, ‘Truffle Pig’ plays out aptly to it’s title with festival-esque substance. As he prepares for the release of ‘Reload’ alongside Sebastian Ingrosso and with further collaborative efforts with Albin Myers and more on the way, ‘Truffle Pig’ sees Trash keep his promise of focusing solely on original tracks for the remainder of the year while acting testament to the fact that Electronic music with creative soul still exists amid the Dance explosion.

‘Truffle Pig’ is out November 6th on Fool’s Gold Records.

Update (30/10): Official preview added.

Update: Video of Steve Angello playing the track has been added.

Be it his remixes or significantly boisterous original productions, Tommy Trash has proven to be above the industry standard as far as global Electro House is concerned. On the back of his sterling remix for his and Moguai’s ‘In N Out‘, the Australian Electro master was trusted to add some oomph to New York trio Cubic Zirconia’s ‘Darko’ for his first appearance on the record label of A-Trak.

Told to be his last remix for quite some time before retiring to original mixes only, Thomas Olsen’s Fool’s Gold debut proves as effortless as it is unique. Maintaining many of the elements of the already diverse original, Trash adds his signature chugging chord play and infectious basslines for a respectful revamp of distinctive properties.
