Following the thorough impact the original has caused over the past couple of months, the Canadians’ latest disco offering returns to Eyezcream Recordings for the release of the first package of remixes. Having, since 2007, been a pair with high asset value to the modern re-invention of 80’s catchy disco sounds, 2011 has, so far, offered Redroche uberous recognition through their two essential outputs. Giving their own Make Your Move classic an up-to-date treatment in January and coming out with the long-awaited Summer challenger alongside Moné, entitled All I Need, in mid July, the North American duo pioneers the first, of two, remix packages. Gloriously headlined by the surpassing sounds of the take from French Government, the duo that is behind the Collins Avenue and Balkanize EP and a string of remixes on Music Oh and Animale this year, the release also includes an exotic, big room rendition from Sweden’s aspiring Matt Joko.
Having gone from a defined club sound to cross path with the 80’s and its acclaimed disco sounds, French Government has become an all-round duo of a higher state. Topical with groovy remixes of Redroche’s All I Need and Music Oh, two sought-after singles are now approaching from France. Representatives of Roger Sanchez’ Stealth Records, the fluctating Collins Avenue and Balkanize Me are at last falling into place under the talented Frenchmen’s belt.
