Fresh off having dominated the overall Beatport chart with two weeks at the #1 spot, Nicky Romero and Nervo’s collaborative single ‘Like Home‘ gets the remix treatment from a diverse slew of producers from both sides of the pond.

While Los Angeles-born Dillon Francis embraces his downtempo mindset for a melodic headline remix, Dutch Revealed protégé Dannic serves up a synth-led take of peak-time energy throughout. Rounding out the package with his unorthodox approach to modern House music, Gregor Salto is on hand with a dark remix that balances heavy drum work and grinding chord play.

Out today on Beatport.

Update (21/2): The official music video is now live!

Never ones to rest on their laurels, longserving House masters Chocolate Puma are joined by versatile Dutch peer Gregor Salto for ‘Gimme Sum’.

Pitting the duo’s characteristically carnevalesque drum work alongside an infectious rerunning vocal sample and rhythmic progressions, ‘Gimme Sum’ plays out aptly to the forward-thinking take on Dance music we have come to associate with this eclectic Dutch threesome. In hopes of raising the bar where open-minded club music is concerned, Chocolate Puma and Salto continue their ongoing quest to enrich the industry with yet another abstract club number of experimental House music.

Years may have passed since Gregor Salto donned his tropically tinted club stylings to Laidback Luke’s Mixmash Records, but in a better-late-than-never style emergence to the surface for the summer season, the valiant Dutch producer follows up 2009’s ‘Step By Step’ with affirmative tropical ‘Azumba’ along with a slightly heavier-set ‘Rave Mix’.

Rife with Salto’s rich and multidexterous instrumental work, the tracks extensive rhythmic progressions and liberal sample work drive home a penetrating sound scope of coarse leads and inherently Dutch attitude. But without folding to the more stereotypical regions associated with his homeland, Salto delivers a fine example of heavy-stepping House music with this minimalistic yet infectious follow-up that quite coherently amends his three-year absence from Mixmash.

As opposed to the Dutch house original from club music pioneer, Chuckie, and Gregor Salto, the aspiring, new Cr2 Records signing, Pierce Fulton, gives the tremendous What Happens In Vegas an iconic injection of pure bliss and frisky sounds. Having screened his noteworthy production qualities in such top notch releases as the recent three-piece EP on Cr2 and a remix to Don’t Be Afraid lately, the Vermont residing up-and-comer continues to flaunt as another delightful offering is out. Borrowing merely just a fraction off of the Chuckie original, the Pierce Fulton take unfolds the American’s impressive ability to master a wide variety of sound progressions and combinations. Building atop a filtered and smooth crescendo of a break-down, playful and brilliantly pitched synths and thumping bass make up this sweet and solid production.
