London-residing Darren Stokes and Philip Larsen, professionally known as the newly launched production outfit M-3ox, follow up their well received debut single ‘Beating Of My Heart‘ with a hard-hitting second installment on Heat Recordings. In spite of their aforementioned first release being eclipsed by the heavy support playing in the hands of Russian duo Matisse & Sadko’s remix of the track, their return sees them take centre stage with follow-up offering ‘Next To You’. Leaping from precisely layered synth leads to an assault of distant low-end riffage, the instrumental version of ‘Next To You’ makes up the British producers’ best work to date, with an accompanying vocal edit featuring Dan Brown wetting the appetite for those in favor of a radio-friendlier version.

Already proving definitive masters of the melodic banger, London’s M-3ox have successfully channelled their new school energy into an array of mighty club floor contenders. Where their forthcoming breakthrough for Heat Recordings, ‘Beating Of My Heart’, marks a strong accession to the realms of the vocal Progressive House anthem, rising Russian duo MatisseSadko were formatively on hand to don their own unique flavour to the heartrending original.

Fresh off the mark from a landmark live jaunt alongside Axwell on their home turf and with a collaboration alongside Arty, ‘Trio‘, for Axtone on the way, their own remodel of this Progressive outing was sure to be swept with the same diverse energy of their current industrious activity. Blasting through tactfully layered synth play and the originals emotive vocal line from Heidrun Bjornsdottir, known for her work with Cicada and GusGus, the affirmative injection of big room energy makes for a persuasive peak time favourite that has already been lapped up by the likes of Arty amid his highly anticipated Essential Mix for Pete Tong and Axwell.
