With well over 20 years worth of contributions to the House music scene, Wales-born Sasha is the stuff of legend. But back on remix duty after remixing ThermalBear, Sasha releases his sought-after take on Hot Chip’s ‘Flutes’ and sixth instalment on his own Last Night On Earth label.

Invoking that feeling of watching an obscure black and white film from the late 20th century, Sasha maintains the dreamy vibes of the original while showcasing his tremendous ability to speak through his music. Where many produces without any intent but to get famous, there is something inherently sincere in Sasha’s approach that leads this restrained yet refined remix with unmistakable soul.

Taken from the British band’s recently released fifth studio album, Hot Chip’s ‘How Do You Do’ receives a slew of remixes from two of the globe’s finest House music connoisseurs.

In the same vein as his highly-acclaimed ‘Inspector Norse’, hotly tipped Norwegian Todd Terje seamlessly enhances the underlying melodics of the original for an effortless mixture of melodic builds and warm characteristics to complement ‘How Do You Do’s illustrious vocal line. But in a turn to the deeper realms of House music, James Zabiela, the Brit best known for his unrivaled DJ skills, rounds off this standard-setting remix package with a poolside groover of mesmerizing bass play and rhythmic claps.
