Already brandishing the seal of approval from Pete Tong, Thomas Schumacher and Caitlin Devlin release the remix package of ‘Every Little Piece’ through Electric Ballroom, featuring Hot Since 82 and Simian Mobile Disco.

While Hot Since 82 goes in the same vein as last year’s Beatport-topping remix of Yousef’s ‘Beg‘ on Defected to take ‘Every Little Piece’ through the motions of piercing grooves and a concoction of low-end bass surges, Simian Mobile Disco gets deeper for a propulsive poolside groover with a lot of heart.

Out today on Beatport.

As highlighted in last night’s Essential Selection by Pete Tong, Leeds based House connoisseur Hot Since 82 returns to remix duties with a take on Thomas Schumacher and Caitlin Devlin’s ‘Every Little Piece’ for Electric Ballroom.

In the same vein as last year’s Beatport-topping remix of Yousef’s ‘Beg‘ on Defected, Hot Since 82 takes ‘Every Little Piece’ through the motions of piercing grooves and a concoction of low-end bass surges in yet another strong remix from the British groovesmith.

Out February 25th.

Sure to be celebrating a year of exceptional exposure in yet another victory for the Yorkshire club circuit, national Deep House treasure Hot Since 82 dons his in demand in ear to fellow British beatsmith Shadow Child’s ‘So High’ for Moda Black.

Hot off the heels of remix duties for Yousef’s ‘Beg’ for Defected Records, the follow-up to original compilation mark ‘Knee Deep In Louise’ emphasizes the more flagrant fusion of the genre this British producer continues to advocate. In a haunting yet rigidly orchestrated remix of disjointed sample work and analogue synth leads, the artist lesser known as Daley Padley exercises his forward-thinking approach to this in-demand genre with persuasive stamina.

With his name already in lights with successive releases for Noir and Defected Records alike, fast-rising Leeds Deep House advocate Hot Since 82 takes on the flamboyant Indie stylings of Friendly Fires and their latest single ‘Why Don’t You Answer’.

Drawing sharply away from the originals appreciated melodies, the remix draws on piercing grooves and a concoction of low-end bass surges and intricate synth lines for a fresh yet formative nod to the sound currently overhauling European club culture.
