Previously an icon for middle of the road Pop shenanigans, James Blunt can be tipped for having mustered some sterling remixes amid his involuntary exploits to the shores of Electronic Dance Music. But where Neapolitan House trio Daddy’s Groove have become something of a stronghold in melodically tuned anthems, their next dance with the devil better known as commercial pop comes in the form of a remix that is certain to turn some heads.

While the emotive top line may have been the only salvageable asset to the otherwise tame outing ‘Superstar’, the injection of peak time energy is a welcome breeze of change to an otherwise empty anthem. As the synths play havoc on the trio’s valiant Progressive backbone, its’ subtle melodic transitions make for a language far more convincing than that of the solemn British pop asset. With an anticipated vocal mix of ‘Wild World’ and new single ‘Power 2 The People’ enroute, this remix makes for promising stamina for a rapidly unfolding year of musical esteem for Daddy’s Groove.
