Having had the now retired BBC Radio 1 host Judge Jules sing his praises earlier this year, Stockholm’s Jerry Rekonius follows up ‘10th’ with another fierce Electro House contender for Spinnin in ‘Paranormal’. Despite failing to fully live up to its name, Rekonius’ tweaks and turns of scattered synth blasts and frantically entwined leads prove the winning formula in his third coming to the prominent Dutch label. With a pool party showcase in Las Vegas under his belt, the Swede’s latest Dada Life-approved concoction of fresh interlaced synth work and an hefty dose of chugging low end chord play set the tone for a landmark performance at Ultra Music Festival in Poland later this summer.

Coming on the heels of Maximum on Whartone in March, Jerry Rekonius showcases a true heavyweight as the sequel release. Out now is Powahbunga with it’s outright and unremittingly pounding interpretation of dirty Dutch.
