Accumulating a dignified arsenal of club-worthy moment makers across his vast studio legacy, Ryan Raddon has proven himself an all-American triumph. Now synonymous with emotional Progressive House anthems and finely tuned vocal spots, 2011’s ‘Fire and Ice’ marked the fierce producer’s most thorough collection of gems to date. On the other side of the world, Melbourne newcomers Aden Forte and Josh Soon have been making similar swells of positivity for their respective scene off the back of their Axtone debut alongside Ivan Gough ‘In My Mind’, setting aside any feats that the Aussie scene was starting to lull against the force of their European peers.
In a tip to the popular highlight of ‘Fire and Ice’, Feenixpawl don their tactful studio etiquette to further prove the strong grasp now associated with this rising duo. Embracing the resonance of the originals melodic keys alongside Skylar Grey’s divine vocal stylings, the summit of this worthy remodel comes with a forceful blast of diverse energy that separates this promising Aussie stronghold from the crowd with the utmost success. Despite the cult following now boasted by Kaskade’s global legacy, this unoffensive remix is sure to prove as satisfying to the ears of long-time aficionados and newly inaugurated fans of his landmark full-length offering.
The remixes of ‘Room For Happiness’ are out February 7th.

Joining a very stellar few on the remix duties for one of hottest records off of Ryan Raddon’s quite recent, seventh studio album out, Gregori Klosman continues to show no signs of simmering down. Adding to a host of remixes for the likes of David Guetta, Lady Gaga, Avicii and Erick Morillo among others, a fierce take on the recently voted ”America’s Best DJ” and Skylar Grey is certainly no mediocre start of the new year. With vocals from the arguably most intriguing songstress of electronic music to date alongside a well-oiled instrumental from the dexterous hands of Kaskade at his mercy, this rapidly ascending Frenchman gives the original of ‘Room For Happiness’ a dash of joyful break-down chords and an enthralling electro-house progression to further validate Klosman’s firm grasp on melodic club-bangers.

When daring Russian trio Swanky Tunes teamed up with Nick Van De Wall’s renowned chainsaw massacre R3hab and vocal House favourite Max C earlier this year, few could have predicted the vigour of this unified European explosion. Still in strong demand after the tune’s initial summer of love, the remix package calls upon a host of guns for hire from across the spectrum of global House music.
While label boss turned Dutch heavyweight Afrojack tidying up the initial cut for his own edit, Russian peers Hard Rock Sofa provide a hard-hitting and lead-heavy digression. Swedish duo Cazzette, already acclaimed for their remixing skills, don their definitive blend of heavy Electro House to proceedings, leaving Aussie hard-hitter Tommy Trash room for a Groove induced concoction of fuzzy Electro fuelled House. It is left to Stateside superstar Kaskade, then, to bring the biggest lean of variation to proceedings, dealing in a canvas of emotive strings on big room beats and anthemic builds to top this remix package of little innovation, but lots of positive noise.

His rather dingy submissions to the progressive house music scene have helped him become a highly-valued contributor and the essential talent of Flamingo Recordings this year. And rightfully so; since the hugely supported Tung! and Hydra engaged clubland around mid-summer, the progression of the now Holland residing Deniz Koyu has been nothing lately, if not successful. Teaming up with the Swedish wunderkid, Johan Wedel, for the remix on James Blunt’s Dangerous which has been utmostly appealing to the grandest of DJ’s, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia and Tiësto included. Ones that may not have paid recognition in the past are certain to have opened up their aural hollows for everything Deniz Koyu this year. As he returns from the wildly demanded Hertz, his stupendous take on the last single release from Kaskade, Turn It Down, has finally released and reflects brilliantly upon Koyu’s unique style.
Borrowing the main chords of the original and the sing-along vocals from Rebecca & Fiona, the framing of the newest production out from Koyu is utterly qualitative and well-made as he adds his God-like build-up with cut-offs and grubby chords to merge into a mighty piece of club-banging qualities, also starring his slickly tailored kicks.
Based out of Atlanta, USA, electro Dj and producer Le Castle Vania, an alias of Dylan Eiland, is also joining in on the remix package for Kaskade and Rebecca & Fiona’s Turn It Down. Apart from the hard-lined style of his previous outputs, Eiland’s experimental touch contiues to flourish as turns the second lead single of Kaskade’s recent seventh artist album, ”Fire & Ice”, into a near to seven-minute long heart warmer. What at first appears to be a production very similar to Ryan Raddon’s original as it borrows quite significantly from the its rapid, soft chords and Rebecca & Fiona’s silky voices later emerges in its natural grace. Tweaking the regular sweepy sound that is becoming immensely popular these days with a grating feel for the creation of an experimental yet melodious and enchanting alteration to Turn It Down,
And last but surely not least, the fast-rising duo Nause offer their take on the big room accomodated original. Having donned their irresistable take on a club summer hit in the bone-thrilling remix on Bullets and their essential sing-along anthem of 2011, entitled Made Of, Jacob Criborn and Leonard Scheja team up for another record under their coadjudant moniker. Signally disparate from the original instrumentals by Raddon, Nause combine the rasping and aesthetic vocals from Rebecca & Fiona with rugged yet dance-friendly chords to precede an acid-influenced yet uplifting and bright drop. Also having built up a keen anticipation for their next single to drop, their remix to Kaskade rounds this package off nicely.
The remix package is out now via Ultra Records!

After the successful launch of the original and whilst Kaskade’s newly released ”Fire & Ice” album is strongly climbing the charts, two sturdy remixes of the American’s 2011 trademark single Eyes have emerged.
Following numerous well-turned-out collaborations in Sending My Love and remixes to Maximal Crazy and Calling, R3hab and Swanky Tunes are now tramping their seperate ways to independantly remix Kaskade’s surpassing Eyes with an absolute stunning vocal from Mindy Gledhill. Whilst the original represents what we deem one of his best tracks to date with an unattainable emotionality and his heartfelt signature sound, Ultra Records seem to have been in the look-out for a remix package with significantly rawer sounds as Wall Recordings’ essential protégé, R3hab, and the Russians of Swanky Tunes were brought in to give their club suitable takes on Eyes.
What at first appears to be another throbbing example of R3hab’s chainsaw-sounding signature drop later breaks down to thoroughly create a widely spread contrast of sounds. Boasting a melodic and utterly beautiful piano lead that hovers softly atop the vocals from Ms. Gledhill and meaty kicks, the man behind Prutataaa, with Afrojack, and an armada of remixes on Without You, Koko and others is out with a new, dynamic remix.
Aside from the flexibility in the aforementioned remix, Swanky Tunes showcase nothing but their crisp chords, consistent drums and mincing baselines to round this package of alternate, harder versions of the silky original off as their The Legend making with Matisse & Sadko is becoming more eagerly awaited amongst house music heads by the day.

As given an exclusive first play by Steve Angello at Escape From Wonderland last weekend, the second release from Skrillex’s newly launched Owsla label gets itself an ultimate electro treatment from the man of the moment – Tommy Trash. Borrowing brilliantly from Shave It’s asper headmark sound, Zedd’s hottest record to date sees an aftershave alteration emerge from the now London based protagonist of stodgy electro house. Having pioneered a huge wave of warped and brutal offerings to go viral in the scene previously dominated by big room synths, many electro-house heads are to thank Trash, if they not already have, for pulling out champions like The End, Future Folk and a widespread bundle of hit remixes on Carry Me Home, Edge Of The Earth, One Last Ride and Alive.
The original’s occasionally dizzying reminiscence of the soundtracks in computer and TV games was taken seriously in consideration by the Australia-bred Thomas Olsen whom managed to turn it into one of the leading elements in this dynamic cut.
Besides the filthy remix from the Aussie producer, the Aftershave of Zedd’s most recent single release gets surprisingly hard take from Ryan Raddon, professionally known as Kaskade, whose admirable advancement lately includes the release of his seventh artist album, named ”Fire & Ice”. Bringing forth a monstrous electro-house progression and kicking baselines, the American boasts a new production side of himself in opposition to his else happy and strictly progressive style. And to round proceedings off is 501 to deliver a vivid dubstep alteration.
