Off the back of taking on rework duties for Depeche Mode’s ‘Enjoy The Silence‘, the man behind the black visor, best known to the world as Kryder, is back to release his first solo release of the year as part of Cr2’s Miami 2013 compilation, following up on last September’s ‘Scorpio‘.

Ditching the grinding Electro approach of his last single, ‘Vyper’ rallies swift percussions and the raw energy closer associated with the sound scope that has pervaded his spree of collaborative remixes alongside Tom Staar.

Having already remixed the likes of Afrojack & Shermanology and Swedish House Mafia, British producers Tom Staar and Kryder reunite to start off the New Year with a free download of their take on Depeche Mode’s 1990 classic ‘Enjoy The Silence’. Utilizing Dave Grahan’s timeless vocal stylings with acid-esque drops and cheerful synth work, Staar and Kryder’s pulsing beat work play well alongside the melodies and vocals of the original to make for a strong first release of 2013.

Sweden’s stadium-filling powerhouse Swedish House Mafia have always been full of surprises. But in the aftermath of hitting #1 on the UK charts, their sixth and final single ”Don’t You Worry Child” receives a slew of remixes by an unexpected assortment of producers from across the spectrum.

On hand with swift drum work and raw energy that may lack the vocal opulence of the original but excels on the merits of invigorating energy, hotly tipped British duo Tom Staar and Kryder lay down a formative headline number of the single, with Promise Land’s remix blending wobbles and persistent misshapen chord play. But where the two aforementioned remixes touch on the energetic vibes now synonymous with the Swedish trio, Joris Voorn rounds off the three-piece package with a turn for the unexpected, choosing to chop John Martin’s heartwarming vocals into a soothing Tech House formula.

Back on remix duty for their most daring effort to date, hotly tipped British Dance assets Tom Staar and Kryder are on hand to present the first official remix of Swedish House Mafia’s recently released sixth single, ”Don’t You Worry Child.”

Where ”Don’t You Worry Child” utilises John Martin’s heartwarming vocals with melodic synth play throughout, the British duo goes in the same vein as their highly-supported remix for Afrojack and Shermanology’s ”Can’t Stop Me” to bring their swift drum work and raw energy to the emotive original. While their Danny Howard-premiered reinterpretation may lack the vocal opulence of the original, Tom Staar and Kryder prove that British House music is on par with a dark and heavier-set turn for this acclaimed farewell single.

Behind the black visor and mysterious moniker of Kryder sits one of the UK’s more promising Dance assets of late. But setting the tone ahead of his soon-to-be-unveiled official remix of Swedish House Mafia’s ”Don’t You Worry Child” alongside Tom Staar, the Manchester based producer is back to follow up last month’s ‘Ultima’ with a second instalment on Armada Music’s Trice Recordings in ‘Scorpio’.

Having already perplexed the genre boundaries between Progressive House and grinding Electro with ‘Dynamo’ alongside Bream, Kryder’s spree of luscious melodic progressions and stubborn distorted drops is as indicative of 21st century Electro done right as one would expect from this fast-rising producer.
