Back on track with a notable shade of ‘deep’, Berlin based producer Martin Roth provides outstanding remix duties for British label favorite Jordy Wisternoff’s emotive single ‘Just One More’. Already proving a solid favorite from his debut album ‘The Trails We Blaze’, the German producer drives a smooth yet funky array of analogue leads alongside the tracks intimate beat work to pen a remix rife with ambience and melodic vitality. Accommodating the emotive vocal work of Pete Josef with little apprehension, this notably down-tempo offering showcases Roth as an aspiring master to the funkier scope of Anjunadeeps distinct stylngs.

Still not recovered from Michael Cassette’s remarkable album back in 2010, where the commercial crossover is growing stronger amid the more club and festival-friendly offerings, Above & Beyond’s more House-oriented label, Anjunadeep Records, continues to boast their affinity for keeping things simple and soulful. Returning to the label after last year’s ‘Deep Style EP’, Berlin stationed Martin Roth comes out with a new, two-piece EP.

Far more inspiring than his latest Anjunadeep exploit, ‘Beautiful Life’ epitomises deep baselines, a repetitive yet unremitting vocal line and dominant progressive elements for an obvious headliner spot. While ‘Beautiful Life’ appears as something of a beach tune, the chunkier beats, rolling percussions and soothing piano of the EP’s B-side ‘Make Love To My Baby’ prove synonymous with a solid early warm-up or lounge contender.
