The name ‘Zelda’ may bring on memories of a camp green video game character, but at number 14 in the night edition of DMC World’s Miami Buzz Chart, NO_ID and Martin Volt’s similarly named new cut is sure to put a stop to that. Representing Axtone at this year’s Miami Music Week and brandishing remix duties for David Guetta, Nicky Romero and Thomas Gold alike, NO_ID unite with homeland peer Volt for a perceptive romp for fellow Dutch powerhouse Robbert van de Corput’s Revealed imprint.
Boasting a uniquely tailored canvas of dancing synth play and rising Electro-tinged riffs, the main edit of ‘Zelda’ reigns in a mature sound scope of well-tuned melodic play from the outset. Paving the perfect route for Hardwell himself to pitch an edit of alternative dimensions to the original cut, both NO_ID and Martin Volt prove worthy of the limelight with this exciting collaborative endeavour of alternative Dutch flavours.

Jetting in comfortably at #14 on the night edition of DMC World’s Miami Buzz Chart, a first taste of NO_ID and Martin Volt’s ‘Zelda’ has now entered the limelight. Add a host of forthcoming remixes for David Guetta, Nicky Romero, Henrik B and Thomas Gold to the fact that the Dutch duo were recently picked up to officially represent Axwell’s Axtone imprint during this year’s Miami Music Week, NO_ID’s new collaboration with compatriot Martin Volt sheds further light on their innovative qualities. Where it may lack on the production side, it makes up for with a catchy lead that is ever so reminiscent of the theme song for Zelda, hence the name. Also due to contain an edit from Revealed head honcho Hardwell himself upon it’s final release, you’re certain to be hearing quite a lot of ‘Zelda’ in Miami next week.
‘Zelda’ will be released on March 26th via Revealed Recordings.
