As the golden boys of modern Electronica and formative figureheads of Animal Language, Dutch duo Mason have proven something of a long serving asset to European Dance music. As the golden boys of modern Electronica and the formative figureheads of Animal Language, Dutch duo Mason have proven something on a long serving asset to European Dance music. Amid a summer that has already seen them scale the globe with their quirky club stylings, the enduring producers join Spinnin Records for their latest studio endeavor ‘Animat’.

Ditching their delinquent Electro get-up for a turn to the peak timer, ‘Animat’ grinds in and out of distinct melodic clusters without impeding the overt quality that has refined their global presence for more than six years. Momentous leads and chugging rhythmic builds aside, the duo make the unsuspecting transition to straight up big room Dance music with little sign of staggering the production values for the sake of a fashionable flare. With their single alongside 65-year old Brazilian Bossa Nova legend Marcos Valle set to drop later this month, Mason can be accused of many things, but dipping their standards with this intense club outing is not one of them.
